We have adopted a new Kid!

Her name is Rosita Candis and her birthday is May 23RD. She was born at the Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. Here is a picture of her with my other three kids:

If you can't tell which one she is, she is the one with the red hair, and blue eyes. Isn't she cute? I have always loved red hair! She has the most wonderful scent of baby powder, and her diaper never needs to be changed! She is probably the easiest kid to take care of!

OK, seriously, this is one of the new, Limited Edition, Cabbage Patch dolls! I think she is incredibly cute, and she brings me back to my childhood! I had a Cabbage Patch doll when I was a child. His name is Aubrey Dean, and he is a bald baby sailor. I still have him, and I remember spending hours with him. I love the Cabbage Patch Kids! I am so happy that my children can make memories with these dolls, too!
The Limited Edition Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids are celebrating 25 years! These dolls are an exact copy of the original dolls from the early '80s. With that said, they are the best! The Limited Edition Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids have the same faces, names, and clothes! (Even those knitted sweaters and booties). My little Rosita has little white shoes like the original '80s dolls. The 25TH Anniversary dolls are branded with the Xavier Roberts signature, have a "silver anniversary" baby spoon, and have a birth certificate stamped with the 25TH Anniversary stamp. Over 115 million Cabbage Patch Kids have been adopted since 1983. That makes them the best-selling large doll of all time! Since these dolls are only available for a limited time, I suggest you hurry in to the stores to make your selection. They sell for a retail price of $29.99. Ages 3+
One day, a young boy named Xavier Roberts discovered a magic cabbage patch. As Bunnybees sprinkled cabbages with magical crystals, all sorts of different Kids appeared! Xavier fell in love with them and built Babyland General where they live and play until someone takes them home to care for and love. When you adopt a Kid, you bevome part of the legend...and make a Cabbage Patch Kid very happy.

Aw, I loved Cabbage Patch Kids! Wish my boys would let me get one for them...they'd probably use it as a target, though.

Cool! I still have a 1985 CPK named Jody Lynette. She is still dressed in her original clothes including her little Pamper. Of course, I was an adult when I adopted her back then. My daughter Jessica had one of the original "preemies" named April Avis. I think she still has it, but it was "well loved". Jess was not even 2 years old and her grandma somehow managed to get one. There were people physically fighting over them in the stores that year. She had a couple others too. One of them was named Patricia Jessica, so I had to buy it for her.
