I am glowing from my thoughtful kids!

I have to share my two latest stories of my kids with their thoughtful ways!

Yesterday, Nathaniel was telling me that his new teacher has an actual mailbox in her room. Kids can put special notes in there from their parents, or papers can be put in there, etc. Nathaniel said this is great, because last year he wasn't sure if his notes got lost on his teacher's desk, or if she got the paper/notes. So, he said to me, "On the first day of school, I put a note in my teacher's mailbox telling her what a wonderful first day of school I had."

**He is such a thoughtful, and caring boy!

Tonight, Nathaniel came home with a bag of clothes from his friend's house. The clothes were mostly for Nathaniel (clothes that his friend has outgrown). Nathaniel said that there was a costume in there for Caleb, and shoes for Maddie to grow into. Caleb said, "Can I go over and tell them thank you for the costume?"

**I love that he was thinking of thanking them even before we said something. That is so thoughtful, too!

I think there is some really great parenting going on over there!! ;)(honestly!!) You must be a proud momma!

P.S. I will say this as a teacher...there is nothing worse than having a rude child with no manners and who is not polite. Kudos to you and your hubby for pressing politness into them at young ages!

I love kids that are always kind and polite. I know in some homes when kids toot or burp it's funny ,I never did that though and always told them if they are around others to say excuse me. One day when my son was around 3 he was playing in his room and didn't know I was watching him and he tooted and then said excuse me even though he was alone ..haha !

That's very cool, when we were at the fair, we took a trolley to the gates at the end of the day. There was a little boy who said, "Thanks for the ride", before he got off. The driver said to us, "Kids are the most polite riders I have". He said adults rarely thanked him. When we got off, I told him,"My FEET thank you!" They really were very grateful.
