Poingo Interactive Book review and Giveaway

My kids love books! They love being read to, and love trying to "read" to me. I think kids learn so much with being read to and reading books. The interactive books are great, too, because they get children to interact with the stories. Poingo is the all-new interactive book, from the makers of Story Reader, that helps kids find special items on the pages of the books. The magical "pen" included in the set, has an infrared scanner that "reads" the images in the book. The Poingo pen reads, plays music and sounds through the speaker. There are two levels of sound. Poingo comes with two interactive books, Disney's Pixar The World of Cars, and Finding Nemo...two of my son's favorites. Each additional book is $9.99, and the programs are already loaded into the Poingo's memory. All you have to do is purchase the book and you’re ready to go. Content for additional books can be downloaded (for free) when you register the Poingo. As a special bonus, you can connect Poingo to your PC or Mac to receive bonus content, free music and more! My son loves working the Poingo and figuring out the answers to the questions it asks. Not only is he having fun with reading and controlling the pen, he is learning, too. One of the really great features of this new product is, it works right out of the box! No batteries, downloads or charging to wait for...just pull out the plastic piece and your child is happy. How ingenious!
Poingo is a great gift to give any child! It is geared toward ages 3+ and I would recommend this to all families! Looking for a Christmas gift? I would like to suggest looking for Poingo!Systems may be purchased at Amazon.com or your local Target store for $38.00. Guess What? I have a Poingo to giveaway!
Enter for your chance to win a Poingo! This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States. Leave a comment about who you would like to give this to if you won. You may come back each day and enter again, just leave a comment about what is your child's favorite book currently. Click here to see how you can earn extra credits to win, and click here to see guidelines and the official rules. Contest will end on December 9th, at 7:00 PM CST. GOOD LUCK!

Jack stayed over at his Grandma's last night, but we did pack some books in his bag....a few Berstein Bears, a few Dr. Suess, and this really awful speaking Scooby Doo one that is so annoying I make his listen to it in his room with the door closed!! Lets see how Grandma likes it.
