Sickness

Sickness looms it's ugly face in our household again. Madelyn is striken with the fever for two days. Poor little princess. Today she spiked up to 104.5 with the temporal artery thermometer! I took her in, and low and behold, she just has a virus~ well, that is what the Doc recommended. She is very clingy, and miserable. So, I apologize that I can't write too much for the personal posts right now. I will keep you all updated. I do have much to blog, but for now, my daughter's needs are great.
Tonight, Caleb woke up with a croupy-sounding cough. He was very irritable, and coughing uncontrollably! I brought him into the bathroom, because I feared the upheaval! A few times while he was coughing, a dribble of blood came out of his nose. I assume it is because it is dry in our house. I will keep an eye on him (and Madelyn) tonight, though. I gave him an Albuterol treatment, got the humidifier set up in their room, and got him back to sleep. So, we will see how tonight goes.
Pray that my children will be healed, and that the rest of us will be spared! Thank you so much! More tomorrow...hopefully. We will just see how my kids are fairing.

Oh Sarah, I am so sorry. I will being praying for Caleb and Maddie to get better but like you said that the rest of you will be protected. It's so exhausting taking care of sick kids. (((hugs)))

Aw, I hope they feel better! Ruby has had the coughing thing, too. Started with runny nose, then a fever for about 36 hours. Then the nose bleeds. It's been dry in our house, too. I think the air outside has been drier than usual, too. That doesn't help. We need a nice April shower or two!
Praying your family is healthy soon!

The hardest thing in the world is having a sick little one, "Poor Madelyn." It's got to be extremely hard with two sick little ones. Praying for your family.

So not fun! We deal with the bloody nose thing all the time. Thankfully we are done with the albuterol stuff, that was not fun. We didn't get the machine to take home, we had to do treatments in the hospital when Kaytlin was going through it.

Sorry it's hit your house so hard! We're dealing with health issues in our neck of the woods, too. Not fun at all.
