Medbasics: Review and Giveaway!

In case of an emergency for your little one, MedBasics has a great guidebook that you can keep in your diaper bag! This handy guidebook covers emergency situations for babies birth to 1 year old. MedBasics covers these topics: CPR, choking, fevers, bleeding, burns, and poisons. It is a very helpful guidebook, and one that I think all parents should have on hand!
The travel pack has a ring on the outside so you can clip it to your bag or stroller. Inside the book there is a page for your emergency contact information. That is really helpful in case something happens to the parents while away, too! The MedBasics guidebook has detailed instructions on what to do in certain situations. Every topic is color-coded for quick reference.

I know that this book is so helpful and important to have accessible. I am so thankful that I was able to review this book! Thanks to the parents who created MedBasics, Luke, MD and Tara Hermann, RN, who live in New York City with their boys. MedBasics was inspired by their son, Nicholas, who chocked at lunch and they needed to clear his airway quickly. Emergencies happen all the time, take us off guard, and we may not remember what steps to take. Thank you Luke and Tara for helping us take care of our children and keeping us informed with what to do in an emergency!
MedBasics has a Home pack ($35.00), Travel pack ($25.00), and the Combo pack (both sets, $56.00).
Would you like to win a MedBasics Travel Pack? I have one extra to giveaway to my readers. Contest open until April 29th. Open to those in the United States. The founders of the company saved their own child from choking and wanted to help others. A great idea for a product!

Blisters that form on a burn should be left intact until seen by a doctor. TRUE

Blisters provide a barrier to infection so leave them intact until seen by a doctor.
