Ragu's new pasta sauces

Our family loves to have pasta, meat and sauce. We tend to be creative with the combinations of those 3 main ingredients, and more often we are happy with what we created. My children eat pasta easily, too, so that helps too! I was more than happy to review to new sauces from RagĂș, RagĂș Old World Style pasta sauce - Sweet Tomato Basil and Margherita. The Sweet Tomato Basil is very flavorful and makes a great sauce for spaghetti and meatballs. My kids, myhusband, and I loved the taste. The Margherita is a pizza-flavored sauce, and it was very tasty, too. I made a dish with noodles, chicken bits, and sauce, and we really liked the taste! I sprinkled mozzarella cheese on the dish, too. The Margherita definitely tastes like the sauce on pizza, almost like a pepperoni cheese taste. I know I will be purchasing these sauces in the future, because they are very flavorful and delicious!
Sweet Tomato Basil and Margherita Ragu sauces come with great new recipes. Ragu.com is a great resource for moms to get nutritional, parenting and time-management tips. Ragu stands behind Moms feeding their kids well, and the helpful tips and healthy meal options are designed to make meal planning easier. Here is one recipe that I would like to try out:
CHICKEN MARGHERITA
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
4 slices fresh or packaged mozzarella cheese (about 4 oz.)
2 Tbsp. thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
2 cups Ragu Old World Style Margherita Smooth Pasta Sauce
Directions
Season chicken, if desired, with salt and black pepper. Heat oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and brown chicken, turning once, about 5 minutes.
Add Pasta Sauce and simmer covered 5 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Top chicken with cheese, then let stand until cheese is melted, about 1 minute. Garnish with basil.
Serve, if desired, with hot cooked penne pasta topped with additional Pasta Sauce, heated.
