Idbids for Earth Day: Plus a giveaway!

Earth Day is coming up on April 22, and it is a great time to start thinking SPRING! Spring into action making our world a nicer (and cleaner) place to live! Idabids are great little helpers to teach our children to help keep our Earth happy, healthy and green.
Waverly is a raindrop. He is a little dreamy, but loves a good laugh. He makes fun of himself by saying, "I may be all wet, but I am certainly no drip!" Waverly is concerned about protecting our water resources and keeping them clean~ oceans, seas, rivers and lakes. Scout, the Cloud, is the group leader. He looks at the "big picture" view of the Earth, more specifically air pollution. He is very concerned about the air we breath. My daughter's favorite is Lola the flower. She is pretty and her motto is "pretty is as pretty does." Her goal is to make sure that the trees, plants and flowers are well taken care of, and have what they need to survive.
Idbids are 100% organic Egyptian cotton plush characters that kids can learn from and play with. The starter set includes a plush toy, organic fabric cinch sack, storybook and Field Guide. The storybook tells the story of the idbids and what they care about. The Field Guide is fun! It is a little book that your child can complete the 10 iddy biddy steps to make a biggy big difference for our Earth. One of the steps is for your child to turn off the lights when they leave the room. Not only does this step help our Earth, it will help save on your electric bill!
Once your child has completed their Field Guide, they can go online with their parents to Idbids.com to tell Scout all about it! Scout will make a Certificate of Completion for your child!
Idbids have won numerous awards including Dr. Toy winner, Preferred Choice Award, and the National Parenting Center Seal of Approval! With the purchase of each kit, a child can enter a code online that will help protect the habitats of animal friends through The Nature Conservancy's Plant A Billion Trees campaign, Adopt an Acre or Rescue the Reef programs.

I learned that the amount of water you save by shutting off the water when you brush your teeth is enough to fill a bathtub a week -- I don't think I'd ever heard that helpful visualization before.

My favorite idbid is Cloud.

The Keen on Being Green classroom kit is great!
It's a creative and innovative way to teach children the basics of science and how to care for our Earth, one iddy biddy step
at a time.
I would have enjoyed this when
I was in school.
My niece will love the flower Lola.
