LemonHead Kidz hair accessories

My daughter loves getting dressed up, wearing shoes, and having her hair fixed up with "pretties." I was excited when Family Review Network teamed up with LemonHead Kidz to review their hair accessories! I couldn't wait to see what was coming in the mail for Madelyn! I got a cute flower hair clip, and an adjustable hair band. I saw the flower hair clip, and Madelyn's face lit up! Of coarse she wanted to have in in her hair right away! The flower is a nice size and is visible in her hair. I got the pink silk flower ($6.00). I like that she can wear it with anything with those colors! LemonHead Kidz offers 7 colors of the silk flowers. They also have other clipeez: felt flowers, felt butterflies, felt bows, iridescent bows, and polka dot flowers.

The Bandeez (adjustable hair band, $9.00) that I got to review was the Grosgrain Flower Power in a light pink. It is adorable! I love the pattern that LemonHeads sent me! Pink and Brown are the in colors right now. It looks really cute in Madelyn's hair. I love how it is adjustable and it is made with special Velcro techniques to keep the band in my daughter's fine hair. LemonHead Kidz offers several patterns to choose from for the Bandeez! One I know my neice would love is the Grosgrain Pink Camouflage!

You can purchase these fun and interactive toys online, or I know Walmart sells them, too. The only suggestion I would have with this toy is to add a volume control. I think this is a fun toy for girls.Polly Pocket has come out with the paper doll of today! Pop 'N Swap is a line of Polly Pockets that offers girls to change outfits, hair styles/colors, and accessories with just "popping" a new piece on. Pop 'N Swap has five heads, nine torsos, and nine bottoms that simply click together, making it easy for little hands to change outfits easily! My daughter had a blast making the dolls different and changing the looks. Girls can create endless style combinations by mixing-and-matching the different pieces, making for endless hours of play. Polly Pocket has great play value at a great price point, so it’s easy to let girls collect them all! Polly Pocket Pop 'N Swaps come in many different styles, some of which are dance, city girl, beach doll, disco doll, and more! Again, I think this is a great fun, and imaginative set to give some little girl! Mattel makes great products!

Bella Sara Trading Cards: A Review

Bella Sara is a trading card game, very similar to Pokemon cards. Bella Sara is a card game geared toward girls ages 5 to 12. The cards have pictures of horses on them. Girls can access the magical online land at Land of the North of North where the horses live (from the Bella Sara trading cards). Girls can feed, care for, train, and play with their horses and also play games and solve puzzles on the site.
Bella Sara will be introducing the new baby Bella foals coming soon! On November 6th, the website is kicking off a 10-day celebration where kids can qualify to win ~daily~ prizes, print of babies' birth certificates, read stories, get access to special codes and more.
Team Mom sent me 2 packs of sample cards of Baby Bella cards to preview. The cards have special access codes to use in the land of the North of North. Once those codes are entered, the horses are put in your stable. Then, you can earn horseshoes to trade in for things to decorate your stable. I think this is a fun outlet for girls to explore, but I am not into the magical/mystical products much. I know that so many boys are really into Pokemon trading cards, so I think this is a fun way for girls to get in on the trading/playing cards, too. Girl Tech: Stylin' Studio ~A Review

Hi, I'm Lisa of Our Seven Qtpies. I have 3 girls. That kind of makes me an expert at girly things, right? OK, but I do know a lot about girls. That is why Sarah asked me to review the Stylin' Studio as a guest blogger. All of my daughters are interested in seeing different looks on themselves, some for fun, some to experiment. Stylin' Studio is just the thing for experimenting with different looks. We had so much fun changing hairstyles and colors and adding fun clothing and accessories. We laughed at each other, and especially at the girl that comes standard with the program. Because Cody, my 13 yo son, was playing around with it and I thought he was dressing himself up, but it wasn't him! The girl looks nearly identical to Cody. His own mother didn't know it wasn't him in drag. The software offers a lot of features. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of hair styles. I had expected to only have a dozen or so to choose from, but I couldn't honestly tell you how many there were, maybe 50 or more. In addition to that, there are features to widen or narrow the looks to fit different shaped heads. Many of the software features impressed me. The hardware, on the other hand, was seriously disappointing. The wand hardly works, it is so difficult that it takes less than a minute to just give up and use the computer's mouse. The camera on the hardware leaves more than a little to be desired. Just to focus on getting the face in the right spot, then finding a way to actually take the picture, and then waiting the extremely long time it takes for the picture to take is so frustrating. The quality of the picture is blurry and rarely in the right place. It is much easier to use a picture taken with a camera. I am mixed on my feelings about the product. So much of it was difficult to use and difficult to figure out, but the program was a lot of fun when a good picture was finally found. My daughters, and even my teenage son, had fun playing with the Stylin' Studio programs. If you can just set aside the use of the hardware and use your own pictures, or are very patient, you will enjoy it.
