National Geographic Little Kids Magazine (REVIEW & GIVEAWAY)

My kids love getting their own mail, and I think it is great when companies come out with magazines just for kids. I recently got the opportunity to review for National Geographic Little Kids and I am thrilled with what they designed perfectly for the age 3 to 6 year old range. My 3 year old and (almost) 5 year old absolutely love this magazine! The kids love the pictures of all the animals, games and puzzles to help further their education, and all the stories.
The National Geographic Little Kids magazine is packed with teaching tools to help parents inspire a love of learning in their children. The Association of Educational Publishers chose National Geographic Little Kids for its highest award, the Golden Lamp, in 2008 and named the magazine Periodical of the Year in 2008 and 2009. National Geographic Little Kids also won a Parents’ Choice Gold Award for 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The photographs of the animals are great, and my kids and I really enjoy talking about the animals, like what they do, where they live, what they eat, etc. The National Geographic Kids magazine has 24-pages in each issue contains animal stories, answers to questions on kids’ favorite topics, features on different cultures to inspire a sense of understanding about the world, plus interactive experiments to introduce simple science. My kids love the cards inside the magazine, and love to pretend that they are trading cards (like their older brother has trading cards). There are a set of six cards inside each magazine that come out, and have pictures of animals with their facts on it.
I really like how the National Geographic Little Kids is a perfectly sized magazine for little hands, and my kids love imitating us by holding their magazine and sitting in the chair. I love that my kids "teach" each other about what they are learning in their National Geographic Little Kids magazine. This great children's magazine is available by subscription for $15 a year (six issues; international subscription cost varies) and on newsstands for $3.99 a copy.
Parents can explore online with their kids at littlekids.nationalgeographic.com.
We recommend this great magazine for your family! My kids love it, and we are happy to share this with you!
***WIN IT!!***
National Geographic Little Kids is generously sponsoring to give away ***UPDATE*** (my error)~ this contest is for the current issue (one copy) of National Geograpic Little Kids, not a 1 year subscription as I had previously stated. I am so sorry about the misunderstanding.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail: MOVIE Review & Giveaway!!

In celebration of Easter weekend, I would like to highlight a classic movie: Here comes Peter Cottontail! This is a classic spring time movie starring the famous bunny, Peter. This is a fun movie about who is going to be the best bunny chosen to deliver the Easter eggs to everyone. Peter Cottontail is highly recommended by the retiring chief bunny, but Irontail, his archrival, would like to have a challenge. Irontail proproses to have a race to see who can deliver the most eggs. Setting Peter up for failure, Irontail gives the morning rooster something to make wake up time delayed~ or not at all. This bad scheme keeps Peter sleeping and Irontail gets out to deliver the eggs. Irontail doesn't have much luck with people accepting his eggs, but he does get one egg delivered. With Peter oversleeping and missing his opportunity to prove himself, what will happen next?
My kids and I enjoyed this movie classic and we recommend it for your family. This DVD is remastered in High-Definition for better viewing. The DVD includes fun songs, including "Peter Cottontail." Voices by all-time favorite TV personalities: Vincent Price, Casey Kasem, and Danny Kaye.

Dove Men Care : Review & giveaway!!

My husband was given an opportunity to review the new Men+Care line from Dove to review. I was excited to see that the package included a loofah, liquid body wash and a bar soap. My husband loved the smell of the body wash and said it left his skin feeling moisturized. He liked that the soap didn't dry out his skin, or leave any residue behind for irritation. My husband didn't care for the shower tool, because he prefers the large loofah. The shower tool has a loofah and a scrubber. I think the tool is either something you like or don't like, it just depends on your preference. The bar soap has a great manly scent to it, and it creates a great lather. It is a smaller bar, but we think that it lasts just as long as other brands.

The new products are designed for men who have a reached a point in their lives where they are comfortable with themselves, but not in their skin. Many men put up with cleansing products that are harsh and drying, without realizing these products leave their skin feeling dry, irritated and uncomfortable. Men even blame their socks for their skin irritation when it is really the drying effect of regular cleansers!

Body and Face Bar
It thoroughly cleanses skin while fighting dryness with Dove signature ¼ moisturizing cream; rinses cleanly!
Extra Fresh:
•Invigorating scent for an extra fresh shower experience
Deep Clean:
•Deep cleansing formula with purifying grains
**Two bars sell for $3.19. Six bars sell for $7.49.**

Body and Face Wash with MICROMOISTURE
The only men’s body wash with ultra-light MICROMOISTURE technology, a unique gel that activates on skin during lather to guard skin against discomfort. Available in three variants: Clean Comfort: Refreshing cleansing gel that rinses off easily with a mild formula.
Extra Fresh: Extra fresh cleansing gel that rinses off easily with a touch of menthol for a cooling sensation.
Deep Clean:◦Deep cleansing gel that rinses off easily with purifying grains.
**Each 13.5 fluid ounces are available for $4.99 each. **The Shower Tool sells for $3.99.**

Be sure to use this $1 off coupon!

Fresh Organics Review & Giveaway

I am all about using natural, kid-friendly, organic products on my kids...especially since most of them struggle with sensitivities= eczema. I was able to review for a great company, Fresh Organic Company, and was sent a bottle of the Shampoo and Body Wash and a bottle of their Bubble Bath. I love the fresh smell of the Shampoo and Body Wash, it reminded me of a spa. Just a clean, fresh scent. The Shampoo and Body wash is hypo-allergenic, safe on my kid's skin, and is multi-use. I love that this is for all over wash time. The soap lathered well, and kept a fun style in my daughter's hair. We like to style hair with shampoo at bath time:

My daughter loved the products from Fresh Organics. We used the Bubble Bath and it made fun bubbles. The Bubble bath product was very runny, and I am used to thicker bubble bath products...and that just surprised me. However, I loved the smells of the bubble bath, and that it is hypo-allergenic. No bad reactions on my precious tot's skin! That is a huge bonus!
I think that the Shampoo & Body Wash and the Bubble Bath are valued right at $7.99 per bottle. I think that these bottles will last long, and I am protecting my kid's skin by using safe, organic bath products. My kids and I give Fresh Organics two thumbs up! I noticed that Fresh Organics has products for kids and adults! Being a sufferer of Eczema, I think I should check into their products for me, as well.

Thanks to a program from Family Review Network and Fresh Organic Baby, they have provided the products for review & giveaway. I was not compensated in any way except for the complimentary product.
Enter to Win!
You can enter to win a bottle of the Shampoo & Body wash (8 fl oz.) and a bottle of the Bubble Bath (8 fl. oz.).
This contest is open to all bloggers/readers of the United States & Canada ending on November 27th.
To Enter: Go check out Fresh Organics and find out what other products they carry and comment about them on this post.
You can come back once each day throughout the contest and enter again by just leaving a friendly comment relevant to the contest, but you MUST do the first entry.

Veggie Tales Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving

Veggie Tales and Big Idea, Inc. have released a new Christmas video: Saint Nicholas: A Story Of Joyful Giving (October 6th). It has been seven years since Veggie Tales have had a Holiday DVD.
Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving is another great Veggie DVD, packed with humor and fun. This movie goes into detail about the original origins of "Santa Claus," and how we give because Jesus gave to us.
Nicky the Pepper starts out as a young child. He is not too happy about them giving to others, and he decides to leave home. Through adventures with his cohort, played by Mr. Lunt, they realize that their village was taken over by a cruel man who outlaws giving. In disguises the two continue to give to the poor. Bonus new silly song included: Donuts for Benny.
I love how the Veggie Tales movies/shorts have great learning messages for kids and adults alike. Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving teaches that giving is more important than receiving, and what the real meaning of Christmas is.
Big Idea is involved in several giving opportunities this Christmas season, so they are doing what they promote. Everyone who purchases the Saint Nicholas DVD will receive a FREE VeggieTales DVD to give to a friend in need! Through this offer inside the DVD, you can log into a special website and select the free VeggieTales DVD that you would like to send to a friend with only $2.99 shipping and handling. Big Idea has also teamed up with Operation Christmas Child to help collect gifts for needy children throughout the world.
Bonus features of Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving, include an original new song by critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Matthew West, “Give This Christmas Away,” performed by West and Grammy Award-winning artist Amy Grant. There is also a special Operation Christmas Child video.

I think this DVD is superb and a great show to watch with your kids! This would make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.
This review was sponsored by Family Review Network & Big Idea. They have supplied me with a DVD to review to share with my readers, for my personal opinion. I was not compensated for my time or written review.

Prima Pincessa (presents the Nutcracker)

I have always been a fan of Ballet, and I love watching the Ballet plays. When I was little, I was in Ballet and Tap dancing~ and I loved it. I wasn't flexible/limber enough remain in ballet, but I kept with the Tap. My sister went through ballet, and made it to the hard toe shoes. I remember hearing her mention the different positions, or moves of ballet. I loved the sounds of the words, and thought the different moves were beautiful and graceful. I just recently reviewed the Prima Princessa DVD and I was thrilled! This DVD is super! I think this would make an excellent gift for your little girl this Christmas.
I love the Nutcracker Ballet, and the world famous San Fransisco Ballet is performing bits and pieces of it. The setting of the DVD is a party of children...girls in tutus. They are coming to learn different ballet moves, and at the end practice their moves (also getting a lollipop).
My little kids, Caleb (age 4 1/2) and Madelyn (age 2 1/2) loved this DVD. They were fascinated by the complex moves of the ballet. My kids like to try the moves out, and say the names like passe. I really like that the Prima Princessa shows so many moves/positions of ballet and I think this is a very educational film. If you have a child that is interested in ballet, or you would like to expose your child to ballet....I HIGHLY recommend the Prima Princessa!
Throughout the movie, there is a little cartoon fairy ballerina (Prima Princessa) that is helping assist with the narration and introductions. If there was any con that I would give this movie, I would say that Prima Princessa (herself) isn't my favorite. Otherwise, I think the whole DVD is superb! I know that my kids love it, and it is one they want to watch over and over. I love that the kids learn real ballet steps, demonstrated by students from the School of American Ballet, the official academy of the New York City Ballet. There are about 3-4 breaks in the Nutcracker Ballet performance, so kids can try out the moves that are being demonstrated.
“Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker” is the second show in the Prima Princessa Presents series, which is designed by two stay at home mom-entrepreneurs on a mission to bring the beauty and magic of ballet into the lives of children everywhere.

This review was sponsored by Family Review Network and Prima Princessa.com. They have supplied me with a free DVD to keep for my personal opinion and option to share with my readers. I was not compensated for my time or written review.

Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella

If you like the Indian Jones-type of movies, than you will like the new VeggieTales show: Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella. This VeggieTales is much like the other ones: full of funny moments, fun songs, and great interaction between all the Veggie characters. Minnesota Cuke and Search for Noah's Umbrella is about Minnesota the Cuke (Cucumber, a.k.a. Larry) who is on the mission to find Noah's Ark. Being a detective, he learns that there is also a powerful umbrella and he needs to get it. There is also a villain who is after the same unusual umbrella. Minnesota struggles and ridiculed, and laughed at. Through his search he learns to trust in God and gain confidence in himself to face whatever comes his way. My kids and I loved this new episode from VeggieTales and we give it two thumbs up. I think it is great how the VeggieTales shows teaches great lessons, and they are fun to watch, too!

Minnesota never does find the Ark, or does he? You will have to watch the Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella to find out!

It was fun to see how the artist draws Julia (the girl that works with Minnesota in the video) and how he draws Minnesota. We also looked through the art gallery, and listened to the sing along with Larry.

K9 Cuisine! All around, Super!

My dog, Lena (half Pug, half Japanese Chin) loves to play. She is a very smart dog, and knows her toys by name. Seriously, we tell her to go get _(name of pet)_ and she will go find it. It is quite comical, and she really enjoys playing with her toys.
Lena got a new toy to try out from K9 Cuisine. This toy is a 22 inch plush caterpillar. This caterpillar is very big, even longer/bigger than Lena! The plush toy is very colorful and has two noise-makers on each end: duck call and squeaker. The caterpillar jingles and has ropes for legs. I think this toy is made very well, and I don't plan any "surgeries" in my future. (I have had to operate/sew up Lena's toys in the past due to injury from extended playtime).
We have named Lena's new toy Pillar, and she loves it! She loves chasing after it as we throw it down the steps to the family room. She runs down there, and carries her Pillar back up stairs. I am surprised that she can carry this big toy, and can manage to somewhat keep it away from us.
Lena is very happy with her new toy, and we applaud K9 Cuisine for having such a super toy for dogs! Lena will get many, MANY hours of playtime with her new pal.
We also received dog food for our dog to review. I can't rave enough about K9 Cuisine's dog food! Lena eats the food as if it tasted like candy. She anxiously waits by her dish each day to get more. What I love most about K9 Cuisine's premium dog food is that it is made with natural foods, and not fillers or chemicals. K9 Cuisine cares about what our pets eat, and I appreciate that my dog gets the best with their products! It is a special bonus that Lena loves their food, too. She leads me to believe she is starving...because she eats the food so quickly.
I got a K9 scoop for the dog food, and that was a fun surprise, too! No more using Lena's dish, or my hands to feed her. Included in my order was a sample of the Legacy Dog food, and Lena loved that treat, too!
I also ordered the Lavender - Deodorizing Spritz and the Lavender and Mint Buddy Wash Pet Shampoo. The shampoo was wonderful~cleaned Lena very well and smelled great, too! The ingredients in the shampoo were easy to read: meaning...no harsh chemicals in that either! I felt like the shampoo was good enough for me to use (if I want to). I tried the Deodorizing Spritz on Lena, and she wasn't too fond of it. I think she felt a little threatened by it, or like she was in trouble for something. I think the spritz smells great, though, and I use it on her bed pillow.
K9 Cuisine offers many products for Dogs and Cats! You can find grooming products, food for cats and dogs, toys, supplements, travel supplies, stain/odor control and more! Check it out!
Thanks to Family Review Network, I was able to be apart of the review for K9 Cuisine! I am a big-time fan of their products and I HIGHLY recommend them to you!! Thank you K9 Cuisine for caring so much for our pets to offer only the best for them!
For the month of August ONLY~~
K9 Cuisine and Nature’s Instinct are giving away one free bag of Nature’s Instinct Organic dog food, if you use the code Instinct-e-0709…What a great deal~ YOUR DOG WILL LOVE YOU MORE!!

How about some flowers? Giveaway and chance to win flowers!

I love getting flowers, especially when it is a surprise! My husband doesn't always think to get flowers, but he does know I like to receive them. Really, he thinks that flowers are a waste of money because they don't last very long. However, they make my day more special, and usually he is shown how much I appreciate the gift of flowers. Family Review Network recently introduced me to a company that makes HINT CARDS which are cards to get your "hint" out that you would love to get flowers. I think this is a great idea, because guys don't always think of flowers. They have so much on their minds with work, kids, family, obligations....etc., that I think they need a bit of a hint to help them out. I think the gift of flowers just shows such appreciation, and as a mom, it is great to get flowers....especially California Grown flowers!
I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from California Cut Flowers to review, along with
the hint cards. I loved the flowers!! I have never received flowers in the mail before! They came in a box, wrapped in plastic (lady bug) wrap, with flower "food." The flowers were fresh, and smelled wonderful!
Tucked inside were the Hint Cards. I think these cards say just enough to prod your special someone to let them know you would love to have some flowers. You can stick the cards in a lunch pail, inside a book (like the checkbook), inside a wallet (next to the debit card) or on the dash of their vehicle. I like the fun sayings on the cards. One example is: "Flowers make a girl happy. And you know what happens when this girl is happy... ;) " I think these cards would be a hit in the floral shops, and also the other stores...so we can hint to our hubby's about getting flowers. I highly recommend California cut flowers! They are so beautiful, last long, and smell great! I love the mixed bouquet! You can see in the pictures how pretty they are. Would you like to receive some flowers from your sweetheart? You can enter to win a set of hint cards. There will be 25 winners! To enter this contest, you need to leave a comment about how you would use the Hint Cards or who you would give them to.
So, this contest is open to those in the USA, and will end on June 22. Feel free to do the extra credits I offer for the giveaways. (see past giveaways).

Celebrate Life with Truffles!! ~Chocolate giveaway!!

I don't know what it is, but lately, I just love chocolate. I really didn't get cravings for chocolate, or really felt like I "need" chocolate. Things have changed. I admit, I love and crave chocolate. I think Family Review Network knew I was craving chocolates, because I was asked and selected to review for the company Celebrate Life Nutrition! I was sent some wonderful chocolate samples that were going to work for my good! I was sent 2 boxes of truffles to sample, and these truffles are made with the intent to satisfy and control my hunger! First of all, I love the taste of the Celebrate Chocolates! I had a variety pack that had 3 pieces of chocolate in it~ three different flavors, called the Celebrate Truffle Creations. I loved the design/look on the chocolates. There was a Cherry, Almond, and Raspberry chocolate. I think my favorite was the Raspberry. My kids tasted the chocolates, and loved the taste, too. My son said they had a weird after taste, but I didn't think so.
The other box of chocolates I got to review was the Celebrate Truffle Classics: which had 3 pieces of dark (73% cocoa) and light chocolate (62% cocoa). I am not usually a dark chocolate fan, but the dark chocolates from Celebrate Nutrition is really good. I love that the company uses natural products, and that I can read and understand the ingredients. No chemicals. Celebrate Nutrition uses a rare cocoa: Criollo cocoa. Along with the cocoa, they use a special blend of natural plant oils - Avocado, Macadamia nut, and Hemp seed oils.
Controlling your appetite can be a challenge, but Celebrate Nutrition offers a solution to controlling your hunger by eating a couple of pieces 15-20 minutes before meals, or when you feel hungry. I tried this out, and it seems to work pretty good. I am not sure if it is because I am eating a yummy chocolate, or if it is because the chocolate is somewhat filling. I didn't feel extremely hungry when we were sitting down to eat.
Either way, it was a great option to have a treat before a meal.
Celebrate Nutrition Chocolates are to savor, taste, think about, share (OK, maybe not share) but definitely enjoy! Speaking of sharing...
We get to host a giveaway here sponsored from Celebrate Nutrition!! One USA winner will receive: 2 boxes of chocolates (like the ones I got), plus samples of the new products. (lucky!) The rules are this: bookmark www.CelebrateLifeNutrition.com. Contest ends on June 16th, 2009.
You may enter again (for extra credits) AFTER you do the first rule.
More chances to win: blog this contest, add my button to your page, subscribe to sassyfrazz, follow me on twitter, visiting/commenting everyday, commenting on other posts, etc. Just leave separate comments for each "extra credit" you do, so you can get the credit.

LemonHead Kidz hair accessories

My daughter loves getting dressed up, wearing shoes, and having her hair fixed up with "pretties." I was excited when Family Review Network teamed up with LemonHead Kidz to review their hair accessories! I couldn't wait to see what was coming in the mail for Madelyn! I got a cute flower hair clip, and an adjustable hair band. I saw the flower hair clip, and Madelyn's face lit up! Of coarse she wanted to have in in her hair right away! The flower is a nice size and is visible in her hair. I got the pink silk flower ($6.00). I like that she can wear it with anything with those colors! LemonHead Kidz offers 7 colors of the silk flowers. They also have other clipeez: felt flowers, felt butterflies, felt bows, iridescent bows, and polka dot flowers.

The Bandeez (adjustable hair band, $9.00) that I got to review was the Grosgrain Flower Power in a light pink. It is adorable! I love the pattern that LemonHeads sent me! Pink and Brown are the in colors right now. It looks really cute in Madelyn's hair. I love how it is adjustable and it is made with special Velcro techniques to keep the band in my daughter's fine hair. LemonHead Kidz offers several patterns to choose from for the Bandeez! One I know my neice would love is the Grosgrain Pink Camouflage!

LemonHead Apparel LLC, founded by Noeui Lalonde, wanted something better for their daughter's hair! With their little two-year-old taking apart the hair clips and the embellishments, the frustrations were building....not to mention the check book. Clipeez were born, and stayed in their daughter's fine hair!! The Bandeez Headbands were originally designed for their two-year-old. Their headbands are fully adjustable, and they fit infants to moms on-the-go. They're designed to not slip or slide on heads of any size. They don't use magnets or hot glue, and NOTHING squeezed out of a bottle like silicone or rubber. The premium patented GRIPSTRIP is made of a unique reliable material that is identical in every clip. LemonHead Kidz have also patented several processes to make the Clipeez and attach embelishments reliably to their Clipeez that is so secure it impresses every time.

Hot, Hot Baby!! Thermometer giveaway!

When kid's get hot, and you don't know what their temperature is, it can be a challenge getting a correct reading. I am not a big fan of taking a temperature rectally, even though that is probably the most accurate reading. I was excited to review the Temporal Scanner Thermometer from Exergen. This thermometer is so slick, and takes an accurate reading by scanning the temporal artery. Using just 2 batteries, you take off the lid, place the tip on the child's forehead, and click the power button. Then, you slowly move the thermometer across the forehead to the top of the ear/hairline. The forehead has the temporal artery, and it contains your body's heat. Here are some stats about the thermometer from the Exergen site:
First it scans like a video camera, capturing naturally emitted infrared heat from the arterial blood supply at about 1000 “frames” per second, locking in the highest temperature it senses and;
Second, at the same time, a patented system measures the ambient temperature of the site where the temperature is being taken. The patented "arterial heat balance" (AHB) software then synthesizes the two separate readings to accurately determine and display body temperature.
It is important to read the directions carefully so you can get the best, and most accurate reading. One key step is removing the plastic covering. I made that error one time while trying this product out. My daughter thought it was her phone when I took it out of the packaging. That was pretty funny.
Exergen Temporal Scanner is so easy to use, and you can take your child's temperature while you snuggle them~ which is what they want most when they are not feeling well. Guess what? You can enter to win one for your family! Go to the Exergen site, and leave a comment about something you found out about using this thermometer. Contest open to those in the USA. Giveaway ends April 15th, 2009.
You can purchase this at Walmart, Sam's Club, and several other places. Thank you to Exergen Temporal Scanner and Family Review Network for this great review and giveaway opportunity!

Clorox Disinfecting Wipe Canisters~ a review

I really like cleaning up messes from my children, OK not really, but I am so thankful that I was able to review the new Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (in the new decor canister). Clorox is a long time trusted product that kills 99.9% of common household germs! It is so convenient to just pop open the lid of the new canister, and pull up a wipe! I use the wipes for counters, trays, chairs, and sinks. I know I will use the wipes on more places, because I am just getting started! I really like the newly designer canisters that Clorox offers! The canisters have fun designs on them so you can leave the wipes on your counter and not keep them hidden in the cupboard. It is much easier to wipe up the mess quick when you have access to the wipe right on the counter. This is how I encourage my hubby to clean up after himself...it is just that easy. Currently, Clorox has 8 different designs on their New Disinfecting Wipe Canisters! Right now, Clorox has a contest to enter your chance to design a new look for their canisters! I think that the designs are fun, and I can't tell which one is my favorite.
I can tell you that the Clorox disinfecting wipes work great, and I recommend purchasing them! They take care of germs, and are easy to use just about anywhere in your home or workplace. With having four kids, I am a big-time believer of using disinfecting wipes.

Da Bib: Review and Giveaway!

Feeding time can be such a challenge with a smaller child or toddler, especially when their bib doesn't fit/work right. I have gone through so many bibs in my 10+ years of parenting, and I would have to say I have a few stipulations in regard to investing in bibs.

1) They have to be long enough to cover your child's chest.
2) They have to fit snugly around their neck (so food doesn't get in between the bib and your child's clothes/body).
3) They have to be made with materials that won't crack when washed~ I hate that!
4) They must be absorbent to liquids and not just drip down the front of the bib~ another pet peeve.
5) And, if possible, made with a pouch to catch stray food that has missed the mouth!

I was just recently able to review DaBib from Chez Shea Baby, LLC~ and I have to say that this Bib is top of the line! It meets all of my "musts" for bibs! Not only is the bib very attractive in looks, it is super functional! Keeping my toddler clean through a whole meal using DaBib, convinced me that it is quality made! The special "scrunch collar" fits any size neck (even my newborn) and keeps unwanted food mess off of your child! I love how easy this bib is to put on and take off! The strap wraps around to the front. I am not a huge fan of Velcro straps, and that would be my only recommendation to the bib~ with maybe a button. DaBib is very absorbent to and soaks up milk, juice, and water instantly - without soaking my daughter's shirt, too! The back of DaBib is waterproof, and there is a pocket in the back that flips open in the front of the bib to catch dropping food. This is a genius idea that the designer, a busy working mom, thought of. When your child is done using the bib, simply dump out the pocket, and flip it back to the back. When you wash, there won't be any left behind crumbs or stains, because the pocket's seam is on the outside! Isn't that creative and smart thinking? I love that feature! Another big bonus to DaBib, is it is non-toxic and lead free! Da Bib comes in two styles: DaHug and DaGiggles. Plus, there are a few choices of colors and patterns to chose from! For only $12.99, this bib is a great value and one to last! Right now, DaBib is offering free shipping with the purchase of three or more bibs, and 20% off your order!
I am a big believer in this bib, and thanks to Family Review Network, I get to try it out, and share the love with my readers! That's right, you can enter to win a DaBib for yourself, or someone you know!

Sane Fitness: exercise on the go!

Being a parent, and always on the go, I am happy to have the new Sane Fitness travel companion! Sane Fitness is a quick start guide to promote full body workouts to be completed in just 6 weeks. What is really nice about the Sane Fitness is you can workout anywhere, even away from home! You could bring the cards to work, even. The cards fit into your purse or bag, and they are packed with helpful guides to get you into shape and healthier way of living.
The Sane Fitness is a deck of 36 cards, put together with a ring, hung with a lanyard string to fit around your neck. The workouts are full-body weight-lifting exercises, with stretches, that vary in intensity with each workout. Three of the cards explain th "A B C's" of the Sane Fitness plan, which is three workouts. Each card has instructions and a demonstration picture. The workouts are 20-minutes of cardio exercise, 6 full-body weightlifting exercises, 2 abdominal exercises and 3 stretches. Recommended weights are for you to choose, so you have to be able to complete them, but you also want to sweat with the workout. The plan is set up for you to use the cards 3 times a week. I like that the Sane Fitness also has a nutrition guide to help you in your quest to get fit!
Sane Fitness was created and founded by a busy working mom, Beverley Caen, and her trainer John Cruz. I think this program will be great to implement in my journey to weight loss and healthier living. Thank you Beverley for letting me try out your program, and thanks to Family Review Network for being introduced to the opportunity to review it!

Play 'n' learn Spoon~ great for tots!

Small children, like pre-toddlers all the way up, enjoy the "do-it-myself" stage very much! It can be a challenging time, especially if you are in a hurry. Feeding time with small children should be an enjoyable time, and one that children can learn from and explore. I was excited to see the Play 'N Learn spoons from Baby Human! These spoons are designed with the self-feeder in mind. The spoons come two in a package with a suggested retail price of $8.99. The spoon's handles are curved to align with your baby's mouth. Many times small children have a hard time aiming their utensil in their mouth, and the Play 'N Learn spoon helps direct food to the target! What I especially like about Baby Human's Play 'N Learn Spoon is that it is BPA, phthalate & lead-free! With that in mind, this eating utensil is safe for my baby's mouth.

Have you ever seen your child gag themselves with a spoon? It isn't a pretty sight, and they don't appreciate the experience! Plus, you may get that food to represent itself. The Play 'N Learn spoon has a mouth guard to prevent the gag reflex. I appreciate this genius design!

Since babies haven't established their left-hand or right-hand favor yet, the spoons are designed to be used with either hand, too!
I think the spoon a great transitioning utensil to head toward a table spoon.
Baby Human's products were created and designed from single mom, Kimberly Kirkup, who has an autistic son. She designed her products with the child in mind.

eenamaria's stylish bags

When my adorable Workin' Weekend Baby Tote from eenamaria came in the mail, I seriously had to try and sweet talk my 2 year old to giving it to me. She thinks the tote is hers, and has claimed it to be so. The Baby Tote is super cute and chic! The outside of the bag is shiny, and I think that is what my daughter loves so much. However, she is totally into zipping and unzipping zippers right now, and the eenamaria's zipper glides open and shut easily! The zipper has a pretty silver tab with the eenamaria logo on it to make it easy to open the zipper. The outside of the bag is made with a washable vinyl. The colors are vibrant! There are 3 storage areas in the Workin' Weekend Baby Tote: two on the outside, and a big one in the center. I love how this Tote does not look like the typical diaper bag, and actually I may just use it for my day trips. I think this bag would be perfect to tote around a laptop. I wouldn't put any small items in the center of the bag, because the zipper has two open areas on either side of it. So, if you are like me and bend down while carrying a bag (picking up your baby), you may have items fall out of your bag. However, if you just carry larger items in the center of the bag, you will have no problems!
Sarah Morgan is the creator and designer of eenamaria handbags, offering a fresh, edgy new collection that really makes a statement. Eenamaria offers every type of bag from small weekend clutches to large, functional travel totes that can fit all of your travel or business needs! And with bright colors and bold designs these bags are not only practical, but exciting and fun.
Sarah has truly made herself; someone to watch out for. Not only has she been nominated twice for the Fashion Group International's 'Rising Star Award', but she will be airing her new line on QVC this February. With her placement on QVC, Sarah hopes to share her new collection with women, such as those who read blogs, who are modern, confident and strong women on-the-go. Sarah hopes to inspire and empower any woman who wears her bag – creating bold looks that represent an attitude and lifestyle that is full of passion and adventure.
I highly recommend Sarah's bags found at eenamaria! You can buy eenamaria's bags at ebags.com. Thank you eenamaria and Family Review Network for this review opportunity!

Show me the LOVE~~

Being a mom and having small children can really take up your mind and thoughts. It is so important to remember that your husband and you still have a relationship. I love being intimate with my husband and showing him that our relationship is valuable to me. I was so excited to review Yandy.com and get a little "treat" when my husband and I can sneak away. Yandy.com has a great selection of lingerie, jewelry, costumes, and more! I found a great lingerie set that makes me feel woman, and not "mommy." Because I just had a baby, I am going to save this special set for when my husband and I can get away together when my body heals! It is fun to have something to look forward to.
I was impressed with the selection found at Yandy.com. If you are looking for modest sets, like lounge wear...they have it. I would love to get the
Sapphire Mist Jammee Set because it looks so comfortable! Yandy.com's prices are reasonable, too, and they have a great clearance section. Yandy offers sizes of lingerie to meet all sizes and shapes. We all like to feel sexy for our husbands. Thank you Yandy and Family Review Network for this review! Go to Yandy.com to get your Valentine's Day Lingerie to share with your sweetheart!
