I was tagged...

My friend, Jeannie from I'm Losing It, tagged me to play this fun game. The rules of this game are as follows:
*Go to the 6th picture folder in your documents.
*Find the 6th picture in your 6th folder.*Pray that you remember what it is about.*Blog about it.*Tag 6 people to do the same.
So, this is what was there....

My darling littlest children, Caleb age 3 1/2, and Madelyn 21 1/2 months. Terry took this picture before church the beginning of December. I love the looks on their faces. So Cute! This is a picture that Maddie is actually smiling for the camera. She freezes up for the camera normally.

I have to tag 6 more people to do this: Alicia, Jennifer, Susan, Gretchen, Jenn, and Alaina. If anyone else wants to do it, it is really fun! Just let me know in the comments, and I will come on over to see! :) Thanks Jeannie!

I have been tagged, now I return the favor~

I was tagged a little while back from Tami (Desires of thine Heart) and Erin (The Mom Buzz) and I am now remembering to do this. I am so sorry ladies that I took a bit to get this done, but here I am. *smiles*
I was tagged to write 7 random things about me...

So here is my list:

  1. I am currently pregnant (for the fifth time) due with my fourth baby. He/She is due the beginning of January.
  2. I do part-time babysitting for another family (in their home) and their daughter is only 5 days older than my 20 month old daughter. So, when I am there, I do experience what twins would be like. I am going to miss caring for her once the baby comes.
  3. I have 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and many nieces/nephews, and in-laws. I love bigger families, and being with my family!
  4. I have the best mother-in-law in the world!
  5. I have been married for 4 years~ and I love being married to my wonderful husband!
  6. Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea are my favorite movies. They have been my favorite since they came out on PBS years ago.
  7. I took piano lessons for 13 years, and I played flute (in school) for 7 years. I haven't actively played either one since High School.

Thanks ladies! That was fun! Now, I am going to tag a few bloggers that I don't know well, but who have visited my blog recently:
    Cat(3 Kids and Us)
    Alaina(3 ladies and a Dad)
    Babysmama(Peanut Butter Mother)
Stacey Moore(All because 2 people fell in love)

I have been tagged~

Pamela Kramer tagged me for this fun Twittering Meme Game! I get to share 6 things that no one knows about me. This may be hard, because I have friends that read my blog from way back. I will try.

1. My favorite character from the Peanuts was Lucy. I know she is a brat, but she was my favorite growing up.

    2. Miss Hanigan was my favorite in the movie "Annie." I loved playing my Annie record on my Fisher-Price record player, and acting like I was her in the song 'Little Girls.'

3. When I was a pre-teen I was in love (or so I thought) with Karate Kid, and the boy from Black Stallion.

4. I collected Garbage Pail kids and New Kid's on the Block cards when I was younger. It is kind of fun to see the New Kid's making a come back, even though I am not sure if they will go all star.

5. My husband and I are getting away next month for a whole weekend. My husband loves model trains, and we are attending a train show in another state. It is a two-day show, so we will be staying in a hotel for two nights. I am SO looking forward to having OUR time for a whole weekend. Great timing before the baby comes, too!

6. My Grandfather is 100% Swedish, and my Grandma is 100% Finnish. My Grandpa came to the US from Sweden, and my Grandma came to the US from Finland. I love being Scandinavian! Ya' sure you bet'cha!

**If you read this, you are tagged. That is you official invitation. :) Let me know if you did it, so I can come read your fun facts about you!

A Book Meme: and a gift

I have been tagged by my dear friend, Lisa, to do this fun book meme! Here's the rules: Grab the nearest book. Open the book to page 56. Find the fifth sentence. Post the text of the next two to five sentences in your journal/blog along with these instructions. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST. Tag five other people to do the same.
I reached up into my filing shelf, and I grabbed a book called 'A Jewel in His Crown.' This is the winner's book to the contest I had for my 500th post. Wouldn't you know it, Lisa is the lucky winner! She followed the rules of that contest and did what was needed to win! So, Congratulations, Lisa! I will get this book to you soon!
ANYWAY~ I opened to page 56, and went to the fifth sentence...
Some women struggle with disabilities and others with disfiguring diseases. Some, like the young woman who went to Australia, are attractive in one culture and not in another. But we all need to do the best we can with what we have. God wants you to take good care of the beauty that He has given to you. And you can be sure of on thing-you are beautiful in His sight.
Thank you Lisa! That was fun, and it really says a great thing! It somewhat fits into our Bible Study lessons we are doing right now. I am in a Beth Moore Bible Study called Stepping Up: A Journey through the Psalms of the Ascent. It is a great study, and I think all of you should really consider being in a Beth Moore Bible Study!
I am a bit tangent-happy tonight...sorry about that...anyway, I tag these lovely ladies:
Ha ha...just trying to call a few Jen's to the task! Have fun Jen's! If anyone else wants to do it, let me know and I will check it out on your site!

Tagged by Leah!

I have been tagged by Leah to list 6 unspectacular things about me....
First the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you. *check
2. Mention the rules on your blog. *check
3. List 6 unspectacular quirks. *see below, check
4. Tag 6 bloggers by linking to them on your post. Then commenting to let them know "there it!"
*it will be there, down on the bottom of this post...*check

1) I cannot go to bed at night, without getting the dishes in the dishwasher. I hate waking up to a counter full of mess! Along the line of dishwasher, I really rinse them off well before loading, because I am afraid they won't totally clean! (like spaghetti sauce!) I know I don't always get the dishes done every night, but it is a pet peeve of mine if they sit there all night.
2) I can't stand drivers who are rude on the road. Those drivers who don't merge over for oncoming cars, those drivers who speed ahead and sneak in at the head of the line, the ones who don't let cars in when there is a traffic jam (these are mostly women drivers)...and those that drive slow in the fast lane! Mostly, I am a patient person, but when it comes to driving, my patience is limited.
3) I don't mind doing laundry, but I hate to put it away. This one, I agree with Leah on! I really don't care to fold it either, because the kids like to "help" by being unhelpful~ you know what I mean. I know that this drives my hubby wild, but at least I get it washed! Really, it isn't my best quality. ~lol.
4) I love having my coffee in the morning. If I miss it, I feel like my day is all off somewhat.
5) I cannot go to bed at night without brushing my teeth or washing my face. I know that some people get too tired to do this, but I will not be too tired to do it!
6) I like to have all my towels and washclothes folded a certain way, and placed on the shelf or in the drawer a certain way. Not all of my life is this organized, but I do get silly about how somethings should be done. (hey, I used to color coordinate my clothes in my closet) I think that is correctly identified as a Type A personality.
Anyone relate to those?

Now I want to tag:
Kaycee
Karen
Leigh
*Fun to meet new people all the time with blogging! Thanks, Leah! This was fun!!
