The Pulse Slither is the Ultimate Scooter!

It is that time of year when the bikes and scooters come out! We were so excited to review the new Pulse Slither from Bravo Sports, my son couldn't wait for the snow to melt!
He rides around on his scooter constantly! He loves how easy it is to maneuver and do tricks on it. He loves to go really fast, lean into the curve and glide quickly around in another direction.
The Pulse Slither has three wheels, two bigger wheels in front, and a smaller wheel in the back. With this awesome design, the Slither makes doing cool tricks easier because you can pivot around with that back wheel and have the support of the two bigger wheels in front.
The Slither also has a great design on it. The graphics are very vibrant, plus they won’t chip or peel! The Pulse Slither is available in two dynamic color ways: Electric Blue “Skull Wing” and Toxic Green “Von Scroll.” The Slither, which retails for $59.99, is available at Target, K-Mart, Academy, AAFES, Sports Chalet, Dunhams and other select sporting goods retailers.
The Pulse Slither has a base board the size of a skateboard or snowboard, and it glides like a surf board on the waves, only you are on the sidewalks/roads. It can be ridden facing forward or standing to one side and is propelled by “slithering” from side to side or by pushing with your foot, opening up even more trick possibilities. The rudder-like rear wheel with variable tension gives the rider the freedom to drift in and out of turns, zip around corners, execute lightning-quick 180º turns and adjusts to their skill level.
My son loves riding around on this every chance he can get. A few of his friends want the Slither, because they see how much fun it is, and they have tried it out themselves.
As a parent, I love that the Pulse Slither is a great product, my son loves it, and it provides an opportunity for him to get out and enjoy the outdoors (plus getting some exercise). This is a great alternative to indoor video gaming this summer!
The Pulse Slither is the long-awaited follow up to last year’s hit ride-on toy, the Pulse Kick N’ Go. Bravo Sports CEO Tony Armand, the creative mind behind both scooters, adds “We are so excited about the arrival of the Slither. The Pulse extreme scooters offer more versatility, functionality and excitement than a traditional scooter and are great fun for kids of all ages and skill to ride. The feedback so far has been incredible! Once people get on a Slither, they don’t want to get off!!” For additional product information and to see the Pulse Slither in action, view photos and get a complete list of retailers, visit www.pulsescooters.com.

Umi shoes for Spring & Summer!

I love Umi Shoes, and I think that they offer such quality and design for their footwear! I got an adorable pair of sandals for Cole to review, the Gecko (in chocolate/tan color) and I can't rave about them enough! I think Cole looks adorable in the Umi sandals and I love how these sandals are designed! The heel is covered, and the sides are open making for a great summer shoe.
Cole loves wearing his new sandals, and they are easy to put on! Two velcro straps make it easy to put these adorable sandals on and off. I love how the toes are covered with the Umi Gecko sandals, too!
Umi's shoes are made with high quality leather, which make the shoes last a long time. I think that Umi's shoes are very flexible and wear super! My kids love to run, and the Umi's last a long time.
Don't these cute little baby feet look great in the Gecko Umi Sandals? I think these sandals make for the perfect summer wear! With my son walking/running this summer, I am so thankful that he has Umi on his feet!
Umi shoes range in sizes for babies, toddlers and older kids. The sizes are in Euro, and the chart on their website is easy to understand to see what size your child would need.

Thanks to Umi, my little toddler will be cruising in style and comfort this summer. I highly recommend Umi for your children's feet! To learn more about Umi, check out their website!

I was sent a pair of Umi sandals to review. I was not compensated in anyway for my review. The opinions and statements in this review are of my own. I was given the product for my personal opinion and option to share with my readers.

Summer Cool Down gift bag (review and a giveaway)

I love frozen treats, like ice cream, and I really like yogurt, too! I was recently made aware that Yoplait has a new product for the frozen snack lovers: Yoplait Whips! MyBlogSpark asked if I would like to review this new product, and I was happy to be apart of it. Our family loves yogurt, so I knew I could rally my kids with this, too!
I got the Chocolate Raspberry, because I love Chocolate and Raspberries (see this post). I brought the Yoplait Whips! home and put it in the freezer. Seriously, it was like eating ice cream, but creamier. My kids had fun trying it, too. Now they want me to include these on my shopping list.
Yoplait Whips! are currently available in a variety of delectable flavors Strawberry Mist, Chocolate, Key Lime Pie, Orange Crème, Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon Burst, Peaches 'N Cream and Raspberry Mousse. Also, try Yoplait Whips! newest flavor Vanilla Creme which just hit store shelves!
MyBlogSpark sent me a "Summer Cool Down" gift bag that includes two free coupons for Yoplait Whips!, cooler tote, popsicle molds and a set of 12 color-changing spoons.
I love the big cooler tote! We just filled it for a picnic last week, and I couldn't believe how big and roomy it was. The Yoplait Whips! would be a great item to put in your cooler for a day away. Would you like to enter to win this Summer Cool Down gift bag, and try the new Whips!?
This contest is open to readers in the USA (bloggers/non-bloggers) and will end on September 30th). To enter this contest: tell me if you would enjoy your Yoplait Whips! ice-cold or softly chilled? or What would be favorite flavor of Yoplait Whips!?

**For extra chances you can: blog this contest, add my button to your site, subscribe to my blog, twitter this contest, and/or visit everyday and add another friendly comment. Lots of chances to win! Don't forget to put the extra comments for the "extra" work. Good luck!**

Madelyn loves her little poncho!

I am really looking forward to summertime....warm weather, boating, playing outside, going on walks, camping, riding on the pontoon, campfires, etc., etc., etc.! CAN WE SAY SRPING FEVER?
Yes, this winter is dragging at this point. I DO love the snow and the pretty scenes of winter...but cold and ice? OK...on to something super exciting:

I came across this adorable little poncho for Miss Madelyn!

This is from Skipping Hippos! She makes quality ponchos...and aren't they super adorable! Of coarse the
little princess wearing it is totally irresistable! Madelyn is modeling the Penelope poncho. Skipping Hippos offers 19 different ponchos, and 2 jackets. They are so cute! I can just imagine how many times Miss Madelyn will wear this for different occasions. I know I would love one to match her! :) Skipping Hippos is currently supporting the ONOCOLOGY patients at Kaiser Hospital. Every few months, Skipping Hippos sends warm, fuzzy ponchos to kids going through radiation treatments. One patient is very special, Kendal. When Kendal was 3 mos. old she was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma (a muscle tumor) she had 5 surgeries, 42 weeks of surgery and has undergone several scans. Kendal finished chemo 22 mos ago. (She'll turn 3 next week!) Her last CT scan was one month ago and it came out clear. That is super!! Unfortunately, more and more children are diagnosed each month with several different types of Cancer. The most common is Leukemia and the treatment for that lasts 2 1/2 years. The hospital that Kendal was treated at is Kaiser Permanente, in Sacramento, Ca. If someone is interested in helping in someway they could contact Janelle (jabmcleod@msn.com), and she could set something up with Cammie (the child life specialist). You can bless children going through tough times by teaming with Skipping Hippos~

Thank you Skipping Hippos for sponsoring this review!! Madelyn is totally loving her Skipping Hippos!

She loves feeling the fabric on her face, and munching on the little balls...but crawling in the poncho is a good challenge. Soon she will be walking, so no problem!
