It is fun having pets, but one thing that I absolutely hate is getting hair on my clothes when I sit on the furniture! I have used rollers that have masking tape on it, and they work OK for removing pet hair. It is so wasteful to use all those strips of masking tape, though, and it loses it's stickiness.However, I got the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair to review and I can say this product is super! I used the Fabric Sweeper on my recliner and couch, and it picked hair up so easy! I need to use this out in the van, because our dog has left hair on our seats.

How it works: Simply slide it side to side in short strokes. Rollers rotate back and forth to lift and trap unsightly pet hair. One Pledge Fabric Sweeper picks up as much pet hair as 145 sticky roller sheets.
Great for:
Upholstered couches and chairs—so you can sit back and relax.
Pillows and cushions—Pledge Fabric Sweeper is great for removing pet hair from throw pillows, couch cushions, and bed pillows.
Car interiors—great for cleaning pet hair off upholstered car seats so you can roll down the window, without stirring up pet hair.
Directions for use:
Slide side-to-side on upholstered furniture using moderate pressure. Use short strokes of about 8-12 inches in each direction (as indicated by the arrows on the sweeper).
Fabric Sweeper is self-cleaning! As you go in one direction, one roller picks up the pet hair from the surface. When you go in the other direction, the second roller cleans off the first and pushes the pet hair inside. If pet hair builds up on the rollers, repeat the side-to-side motion a few times on a clean area of the upholstery.

I really need one of these. We have our dog, "Jake", who is a springer/lab cross. He has short hair, but loses lots of it all over everything. He thinks he's a people, so he always sits on the furniture...even though he's not supposed to. We also have my dd's dog, "Bart", who is a Welsh Corgi. He's got long hair, and the kids like to sit and pet him on the furniture.
We rescued a long hair black and white cat last year. He's a sweetheart but he leaves fur all over my furniture and rugs. Thanks for the chance.

We have three beautiful cats whose hair gets everywhere. The siamese has white hair, the DSH, has orange hair, and the Calico is white/grey/orange. It figures that all of our furniture is dark so the hair is VERY apparent. I always tell the kids to not hug the cats when they are dressed up but in almost every situation when we get to church or a play I look at them and think what did they do roll in cat hair. This would be a LIFE-SAVER.

The Lab likes to lay in on the bean bag chair in the basement, the suede is always covered in black hair. Hopefully this would get the hair off.
I inherited a beautiful husky 13 years ago named D'Hara. She's a wonderful girl, and my shadow, but talk about shedding! We have to be careful what vacuums we buy, and we buy many, because she sheds like mad. I've considered knitting a sweater with her hair, but then I'm not sure that isn't ... strange. But, hair hair everywhere. We can't buy dark clothes, and I hate to wear my favorite black coat. She's killing me, and this would be a wonderful help!

We have a wonderful 13 year old Sheepdog and a 7 year old Irish Setter. We also have 2 cats so between them all it seems as if I spend most of my time taking hair off of the couch and chairs which they love to curl up on! I would use the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Fur to clean up after Wicket (brown), Trickster (orange), Remy and Indy (grey and white), Misha (calico), Presto and Kali (black). As you can tell, no matter what I wear, cat hair is going to show!
