Nature Discovery In My Backyard: Book Review and Giveaway!

I really like books for kids that are educational! I was excited to get the Nature Discovery In My Backyard book for review from the Little Environmentalists. The pictures in the book are very realistic (look like photos) and they are big pictures. My kids loved looking at the nature pictures and we had some great talks about our environment and what is outside in our world. We even talked about what is in our yard, and other people's yards. It is a great book to make our children aware of the world around them. Nature Discovery In My Backyard (first book in series) retails for $6.95, and you can find it at the Little Environmentalists website or Amazon. The second book, I’m Turning Green, is anticipated this fall. The website also offers free downloads about nature.
The Little Environmentalists proudly print their books using 100% post-consumer waste, chlorine free and non-toxic toner. Environmentally friendly printing preserves forests and habitats, keeps toxic chemicals out of the environment and generates fewer greenhouse gases. It has been estimated that producing a ton of paper using 100% post-consumer copy paper rather than virgin pulp saves about 24 large trees, 4,000 kilowatt hours of electricity, 60 pounds of air pollution and 7,000 gallons of water. The Little Environmentalists, LLC, is a company committed to developing and publishing children’s material to promote environmental awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship.
Would you like to win a copy of Nature Discovery In My Backyard? Little Environmentalists has offered to sponsor a giveaway for my readers! This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States. To enter the contest, tell me what you enjoy reading with your children? Or you can let me know what you like to study with your children pertaining to the great outdoors. Click here to see how you can earn extra credits to win, and click here to see guidelines and the official rules. Contest will end on October 15th, at 7:00 PM CST.

I am ADDICTED to children's books! I collect them and I'm always looking for new ones to add to my collection. Right now, my son really loves the Magic Tree House series so we are reading those together. I also LOVE the pigeon books by Mo Willems.

Sounds like a fun giveaway!
