One thing my kids love about the Veggie Tale DVD's are when they show little kids sharing stories and thoughts/ideas about topics relating to the story lines. The "Veggie Kids" share their perspective on true happiness as only kids can!

Our review: My kids love Barney, and I think that Barney episodes are great! I love this DVD: Barney's Egg-cellent Adventures, because it is a full aray of colors. Spring time is in the air, and Barney and his friends have fun with Mother Goose and fun spring-time animals. We recommend this DVD for your family!

World Animal Adventure with Baby Einstein

My kids love animals, and they had such a blast this summer checking out all the different animals at the zoos this summer. We had such a grand time talking about the different animals, where they live, what they eat, and about their families. My children just get so animated when they see animals.

In celebration of young children's fascination with animals and in honor of World Animal Day, Baby Einstein created World Animal Adventure, the newest DVD from Baby Einstein.
September 29, The World Animal Adventure DVD was released. This DVD is filled with animals from all over the world~ all seven continents, in their own environments. What an educational movie for the younger ones! Of coarse the music in the Baby Einstein is orchestrated with world music in a classical way. The DVD also includes fun baby animal puppet shows, and kids have fun engaging with the puppets, too. I like the feature of the Grow with Me on the DVD, which offers a second viewing mode with content that changes as your baby grows so that you can get more out of the DVD. My kids loved this DVD and wanted to watch it over and over. They loved seeing the different animals.
Along with World Animal Adventure, Baby Einstein will introduce a number of new developments this Fall. In addition to an updated home page, Baby Einstein presents a new blog site, YouTube channel, and Twitter page. Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella

If you like the Indian Jones-type of movies, than you will like the new VeggieTales show: Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella. This VeggieTales is much like the other ones: full of funny moments, fun songs, and great interaction between all the Veggie characters. Minnesota Cuke and Search for Noah's Umbrella is about Minnesota the Cuke (Cucumber, a.k.a. Larry) who is on the mission to find Noah's Ark. Being a detective, he learns that there is also a powerful umbrella and he needs to get it. There is also a villain who is after the same unusual umbrella. Minnesota struggles and ridiculed, and laughed at. Through his search he learns to trust in God and gain confidence in himself to face whatever comes his way. My kids and I loved this new episode from VeggieTales and we give it two thumbs up. I think it is great how the VeggieTales shows teaches great lessons, and they are fun to watch, too!

Minnesota never does find the Ark, or does he? You will have to watch the Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella to find out!


It was fun to see how the artist draws Julia (the girl that works with Minnesota in the video) and how he draws Minnesota. We also looked through the art gallery, and listened to the sing along with Larry.

Fun Fall Movies from HIT Entertainment and Lionsgate

My kids really enjoy the DVD's from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment with the crew of characters. The recent DVD we got for review was: Trick or Treat Tales. This DVD stars Barney, Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Fifi and the Flowertots and Angelina. This DVD will be released on the shelves tomorrow (September 1). The characters in this DVD are great about giving the message of friendship, togetherness, and adventure.

My kids really enjoy this DVD because it is a mini cartoon from each of these fun, loving crew. This DVD is a great selection and they all promote friends doing things together.

Barney's Halloween Party is a fun DVD where Barney and his friends are preparing for a Halloween party at the school. Fun filled with songs like: Pop goes the Weasel, Ichy, Aquishy, Gooey, Ooey, and So many Pumpkins. Barney always has positive messages and displays of working together.

It's Halloween and Barney and his friends are decorating the gym for an exciting party at the school. From Indian corn to smiling jack-o-lanterns, they gym is aglow with the colors of fall. Meanwhile, BJ™ and Baby Bop™ are putting the final touches on their costumes as they get ready for a fun-filled night of trick-or-treating. Finally, evening arrives, they party beings and the trick-or-treaters set out to search for goodies. Unfortunately, after a full night of trying, BJ comes up just a bit empty-handed. Our family loves Shaun the Sheep, and we could NOT wait to see the new DVD: Shaun the Sheep's Little Sheep of Horrors. This DVD is pretty funny! The barnyard tricks and jokes never end with this funny bone tickler. The baby sheep gets in the house, into some red stuff, and needs to be rescued. Shaun and the other sheep are freaked out from a moving glove, and there are many "pranks" performed in this all new, 6 episode, DVD. Here is a list of the 6 spooky stories: Little Sheep of HOrrors, Abracadabra, Things that go Bump, Heavy Metal Shaun, Troublesome Tractor and Sheepwalking. There are two bonus features, too: Sheep-Shearing Game, and Whack-a-Pig game. I highly recommend this DVD for a good family fun night!

The book (Counting to 10) is very colorful, and it is fun to count to 10 with my kids. They love counting books, and it is fun counting with Barney.

These sets are so fun~ I love them! I got a Bob the Builder set to review, and my son loves it! The DVD's have fun stories, and my son loves using his lunch box to hold his treasures in it.

The lunch boxes are insulated, and have a handle for easy carrying. I think this set is very well priced! You get a great bag/lunch box, plus 3 movies.

WiggleTime (an online game source)

Recently, I was asked to review a fun new site featuring The Wiggles! My son and daughter really enjoy the Wiggles, and since we have ended our cable, it was fun to bring the Wiggles into our home from the computer. WiggleTime.com is a fun virtual world where my son (with my help) was able to create/design his character and play in the Wiggle World. He really enjoyed playing, exploring and being challenged in the online world.
WiggleTime.com was designed with the preschooler in mind. WiggleTime.com has been designed to provide pre-schoolers with their first introduction to the Internet in a fun, safe, educational and ad-free environment. Created as an early childhood developmental tool for both toddlers and their parents, it will be the ultimate online destination for children to learn while they play. The Wiggle Time design is wonderful, creative and very kid-friendly. I really like the feature of a time out for the kids. Wiggle Time designed the virtual world to give kids a time out, due to time on the computer!

I am glad that I had the opportunity to review Wiggle Time. I did think that the site ran a bit slow, but I am told that they are working out that glitch. Seeing my son enjoy this virtual world and interacting with the characters of the Wiggles, was a fun experience.

Wubbzy's BIG movie

My kids love Wow! Wow! Wubbzy, and they were excited to review the new Wubbzy movie: Wubbzy's BIG movie!
This is a full length movie based on the animated children's series staring the energetic Wubbzy: a curious, quadratic shaped animal - as he and his friends Widgit and Walden learn important lessons about friendship and about helping others.
When the cheerful Wubbzy loses his memory, his pals Widget and Walden try to help him remember who he is. To cure Wubbzy's amnesia, Widget and Walden remind their friend about many of the wacky and wonderful adventures they've shared together.

Wubbzy will have to remember where to find marshmellows to make a birthday lasagna, and why splashing in mud puddles isn't always a good idea. He also sees that watching scary movies may make him afraid of the dark.

My kids and I enjoy the lessons and laugh along with Wubbzy and his friends in the new collection of stories found in Wow! Wow! Wubbzy's Big Movie!

Thomas tries to impede the forthcoming events…little does he know that Toby is scared of leading the parade on his own!
“Push Me Pull You” – The Puppet Show has arrived on the Island of Sodor and Skarloey excitedly asks Sir Topham Hatt if he can pull the puppet show special. The trucks are very heavy, and instead of accepting Rheneas’ offer of help, Skarloey challenges him to a tug of war with the trucks. Disaster quickly ensues, and Skarloey learns that friendship is the strongest thing of all.
