Ok, I may not get much done on the list I made yesterday, because:


MY Wii came in the mail today!! I am so excited, and I know it will be a late night!

Things I want to get done while my toddler is on vacation

1. I would like to organize the "old school area" in our basement. That means clean off the filing cabinet, go through books and put away, take down posters (and save) and get rid of stuff we don't use/need.
2. I would like to make the "play area" more fun and kid friendly. I want to find some kind of shelves or bins to put toys in. I need some organization here, too, just need to know how I am going to do it.
3. I would like to clean off and organize the desk area. This is a sore to the eyes for my husband and I, and it really needs to be done.
4. I would like to de-clutter the kitchen, and re-organize. This is a big job, so I may just focus on a few areas.
5. I would like to get through the kid's clothes. This is in our very basement, and it is a huge job. I would like to put the sizes in the proper boxes/bins, so I can know what I have with just a glance. Any suggestions on the best way to do this without pulling out my hair? :)
6. I would like to clean...vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, clean bathrooms...without any interruptions.
7. I want to dust off my stamps and make some cards! This is a little easier to do with out our tornado-toddler.
8. I want to get ALL the Christmas decorations put away, and actually put up the few Valentine's Day things I have. That would be fun. Seriously, I do not have a whole lot, so don't think that I am a fanatic. LOL

12. Bubble bath with my daughter...ok, well, maybe.

On to kid #2

Now that the virus has been through Caleb (and is still trying to get out), Maddie is hit with the nasty cold. This is so not fun. They are constantly coughing, runny noses, WHINEY>>>CLINGY>>>and just plain miserable. Caleb is still throwing up from coughing spells. I wish sometimes we could take a time-out from parenting. OH, the joys of parenting in times of turmoil. This is a true test of our sanity. Lord, can I be done now? I want my healthy kids back. I would love to be able to get my sleep back, too...oh yeah, and one more request...have you seen my husband? We don't remember each other too well anymore...he is sleeping with Caleb. :)

1. The Doctor had to break my collar bone when I was born...to get me to fit out the birth canal! OUCH!
2. I put my arm in a ringer washer when I was 5 years old. I really don't have a terrible scar from it...not too noticeable anyway.
3. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
4. The first time I had alcohol was in my parent's basement...Pink Lemonade and Vodka. (I was 16). Then, I didn't touch it again until I was 21...HONEST!
5. My sister and I set our backyard on fire with sparklers one hot summer day.
6. I was raised Baptist.
7. I used to draw cartoon characters...I really miss it!
8. I play piano and flute...need to clear off the dust bunnies and start up again!
9. I lived in Tennessee for 4 months.
10. I love to go camping, but don't get to do it enough.
11. I have been married for 3 years, have had 3 babies (in those years), and lived in 3 houses.
12. I love cats! We don't have one, but I love them!
