Umi shoes ~ great styles!

I love the adorable shoes that Umi carries! Madelyn got a pair of Fancie boots to wear this fall. She looks so cute in them, and she loves to model them. I love how they look on her feet, and I think the quality of the Umi shoes are superb! Leather shoes, made with top notch leather, and made to fit! I have to say that Pink and Brown colors go great together, too!

When I ask Madelyn to get her shoes when we are heading out of the house, her Umi Fancie boots are her first choice. She can put on her own boots, and she keeps them on (most of the time).
Cole, my little (almost 9 month old) baby is an active crawler. He loves to be on the go, constantly. So many times shoes that are on crawlers tend to get scuffed up on the toe from all the rubbing on the floor/ground. Those little babies use their toes to pull themselves up, too. Well, Umi shoes are designed with the crawler in mind. Cole got a pair of Possom baby shoes to try out. Cole looks adorable in these shoes, they keep his feet warmer, and he can move just as quick in the Umi shoes. I really like the toe on the baby shoes from Umi. Yes, they may not look like the traditional baby shoe, but I can attest that these shoes are superior for crawlers.
Umi Possom shoes are made with high quality leather, gripper rubber pieces on the bottom, easy Velcro, and made with room for those baby feet to grow!
I also received a pair of shoes for Caleb to try out. I ordered the Igor in the chocolate-amber color selection. I really like that the Umi shoes are available in several different designs, as well as different color options. I think with a variety of options, you can be sure to find what you are looking for. Kids like options, and they like different colors. Anyway, Caleb loves his shoes, and he says he runs faster in them. I think they look great on his feet, too! The Igor shoes are made similar to hiking boots, and I believe that these shoes will last a long time with his busy feet.
Umi shoes are available for baby, girls and boys. The size selection is in European sizes, but there is a size table that you can pop open to see what you would need for your child/baby. You can either chose to measure your child's foot, or base your selection on current shoe size. The price range for the shoes found at Umi are between $30-$115. You can check out where the Umi shoes are sold in a location near you.
I give Umi two thumbs up, and I highly recommend these shoes!
This review was sponsored from Umi Shoes. They have supplied me with product to review and keep for my personal opinion and option to share with my readers. I was not compensated for my time or written review.

Back to school with See Kai Run & a giveaway!

See Kai Run makes adorable, and long-lasting shoes! I am a happy promoter of the quality shoes that See Kai Run designs! I got a pair of Marco, in the smaller, shoes for Cole to review, and they super adorable as you can see in the pictures (of coarse the model is super adorable):

See Kai Run's shoes are quality shoes, made with super soft leather, great detail in design, and a wider toe area (more room for those fat baby feet). So many times Cole will ball up his feet when I try to put shoes on him, and I think See Kai Run's shoes are designed for this very fact. Baby feet need extra attention when putting on shoes, and the wear that they get.

I love the new fall collection that See Kai Run has! Go see all the new designs, colors, and selections they have! The soles are very flexible, which is great for those new walking feet. Cole is getting to that stage quickly. He is already walking around the furniture! I am glad he is wearing the See Kai Run shoes with learning to walk, because the sole is padded (for comfort) and the shoes are so flexible. With leather shoes, his little feet will stay warmer this winter, too! See Kai Run's footwear meets the American Podiatric Medical Association's rigorous standards for foot health and functionality and has been awarded the APMA's prestigious Seal of Acceptance. Retail prices range from $32-$46. My kids and I highly recommend the shoes from See Kai Run for your family and give them Two Thumbs Up!

Nowali Moccasins for kids (giveaway)

It can be such a challenge to keep socks or shoes on babies and toddlers. It is good to keep something on their feet (sometimes) especially if you are out of the house. I was sent an adorable set of moccasins that I absolutely LOVE!! Nowali Moccasins are great for keeping those feet warm, and keeping your baby/toddler's feet covered. Nowali created a sock and shoe in one! I really like this concept!

Nowali Moccasins are made in Sweden (for which I am partial because of my ancestry), and made with quality. The stitching on the moccasins are still hand sewn after 50 years! That is pure quality, and made with love. The moccasins are made with a soft leather sole, so they are very flexible for mobility. I think that the bottom of the moccasin is made so well, too: made so that little walkers won't fall easily.

Norwali Moccasins are available in so many different designs, and you can get moccasins for 6 months - 6 years. There are a few designs available for 8 and 10 year olds, and yes, there are even some for adults.
Cole just loves his Nowali moccasins, and I am so happy he has them!
My son loves wearing them, and I like that his little feet stay warm. As you can see in the pictures, he is totally enamored with them! I didn't have any problem putting the moccasins on, and he didn't seem to kick them off either...even with them a bit big on him. The moccasins have a double elastic at the ankle, so that helps it stay on.
Would you like to win a pair of these adorable moccasins? Nowali has offered to sponsor a giveaway to my readers! You will love these great moccasins!! Here are the contest rules: Go to the Nowali website and pick out which moccasins you would most like to win from among the colors and sizes available on the website. More chances to win: blog this contest, add my button to your page, subscribe to sassyfrazz, follow me on twitter, visiting/commenting everyday, commenting on other posts, etc. Just leave separate comments for each "extra credit" you do, so you can get the credit. This contest is open to USA addresses, and will end on June 22, 2009.

I was also given a coupon code: HAPPYFEET, which gives 10% off + free shipping for orders over $40!! Great deal! This is good thru 12/31.

See Kai Run Shoe Giveaway!

I just love the shoes that See Kai Run makes! They have such great quality shoes, and they are super adorable, too! They have a great selection of new Spring shoes! I am so looking forward to spring and summer, and Madelyn's new Dorothy shoes from See Kai Run will be worn all over the place. When I got the package in the mail and opened it up, Madelyn was standing right there asking for her shoes. She is a shoe lover, and she had to put them on right away. She wore them all day, and smiled the whole time. Not only are See Kai Run shoes adorable, they are made so well for little feet. See Kai Run shoes have very flexible soles and the leather lining (sheepskin) is breathable and durable. The shoes have a padded collar that adds comfort and helps the shoes stay on little developing feet. These shoes are meant to be worn indoors and out, and made to last!
See Kai Run had an amazing charitable campaign recently~See Kai Run customers generated a donation of 9,700 Pairs of Shoes through November/December 2008 “Share A Pair” Matching Event!
See Kai Run made sure that for every pair of shoes sold during November and December 2008 at its retail Web site (www.seekairun.com), a pair also went to a child in need. As a result of the matching event which ended December 31, 2008, See Kai Run, has donated over 9,700 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls.
Soles4Souls is an international charity dedicated to providing footwear to disadvantaged people around the world. With this donation, See Kai Run will have shared a total of nearly 34,000 pairs of shoes to children who need them the most. “Share A Pair” is part of See Kai Run’s overall charitable giving campaign, which focuses on international, national, and local charities for children.
"Although 2009 will be a difficult year for many of us, we can be grateful that we are able to purchase a comfortable pair of shoes for our own children,” says founder Cause Haun. “We are so happy that through their purchases at seekairun.com, parents across North America were also able to provide a pair of shoes to a deserving child in another part of the world. As always, Soles4Souls makes it incredibly easy to help and we are grateful for that."

Umi Shoes: Review and Giveaway!

Since Madelyn is such a shoe fan, I am always on the look out for great shoes. Not only great for looks (which is what Madelyn is mostly into right now) but for comfort and function. Umi makes adorable shoes for children, and their shoes are made to last!
From the site:
At Umi, we build real children's shoes. Not floppy leather slipper socks. And not miniature grown-up shoes. We know a lot about growing feet. Front to back. Side to side. Top to bottom. Umi shoes are designed with children's feet in mind. Around here we have some pretty high standards. We craft our shoes from the highest quality nappa and nubuck leather, with carefully constructed lasts. Our manufacturing process includes more than twenty quality control checks to ensure that every pair of shoes meets our standards. The result: Umi shoes are flexible, supportive, built to fit, and go the distance.
I think that the qualtity is superior and they really make great shoes! The leather is soft, the Velcro straps are strong and durable, and the shoes are flexible enough for little walkers. I am excited to see how these shoes last through the miles Madelyn will put on them. I think they will outlast Madelyn's use.
Umi's shoes come in several sizes for baby up to children's sizes. Sizes are in European sizes from infant 17-children size 38. The prices range from $40-$105 and the quality is what you pay for. The shoes are made with nappa and nubuck leather, which makes the shoe last. There are so many styles of shoes for baby, girls and boys with picks from summer shoes, dress shoes, or tennis shoes.
Another bonus about Umi shoes, is they use only non-toxic materials that are built to last. Their drum-dyed leathers are tested for colorfastness and wear-resistance. Umi packages their shoes in recycled materials and uses environmentally sound practices to manage waste. At Umi, making a safe, healthy, earth-friendly product is not trendy...it is who they are.

Would you like to win a pair of Umi Shoes?
Umi has offered to do a giveaway for my readers! This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States. These shoes are made for walking...

Growing up I was always told to walk from heel to toe, because that is the proper way to walk. It is better for your feet and balance with walking. That is one of the features I like that the Rileyroos shoes are designed for. I got a pair of the Sporties shoes for Madelyn, and she looks super in them! She wanted to put them on right away, of coarse, and the shoes helped her little feet walk in the right movements. It was great! The shoes are made with a natural curl above the toes to provide leverage as a child begins crawling. So, these shoes are great from crawlers to runners! That isn't the only feature of the Rileyroos shoes that I appreciate! The shoes are made with a super soft leather (upper and sole). Leather is a natural warmer, too. I know that leather shoes will help protect my kids from the colder weather temps here in MN, plus leather lasts longer. The sole has a flexible rubber padding to help protect feet. It is made with special grooves to help prevent falls on slippery surfaces. The collars are padded which provides extra comfort and thereis a Velcro strip to help keep the shoe on your child's foot. These shoes are so stylish, too! Rileyroos has a great selection for both girls and boys for any season. Rileyroos comes in several sizes from 3 months-24 months (sizes 2 1/2- 8)
Kim and Brian, parents and founders of Rileyroos, started the company to create shoes that were stylish and helped little developing feet. Their main focus with starting Rileyroos was style comfort and ease. I would say they accomplished this magnificently with the design of their shoes!

Kim has graciously offered a 20% discount code Holiday08, valid through 12/23/08 for my readers! I highly suggest these shoes for your kids! I know you will like them as much as I do!

U*neaks: Shoe/sock review & a Giveaway!!

Kids shoes just keep getting better, and better! Another great shoe that caught my eye lately, is the all-new U*neaks! With kids changing their mind all the time with what characters or designs they like, U*neaks is the shoe to appease to your child's tastes! U*neaks patented customizable footwear are sneaker style shoes with side clear panel windows and specially designed socks that allow kids to continuously customize their shoes by simply changing their socks. These great shoes are fitted for those in pre-school through elementary school. U*neaks have a great selection of double-sided decorated socks to wear with the unique shoes! One side of the socks have one design, while the other side carries a different design. So, depending on the day, kids can chose which design will be seen by all. U*neaks shoes come in 9 styles for girls and boys (sizes 8 through 3), and they range in price between $34.99 and $39.99. The U*neaks socks come in a variety of designs and you can get either crew or ankle socks. There are over 29 styles of socks to chose from, so kids will have many options for those changing moods, outfits, and occasions. The socks range in price from $4.99 to $5.99 for each pair of two sided socks.
Notice how there is two different designs on the socks. I think this is very clever, because it gives kids the control over what the design will be! Caleb absolutely loves picking out his socks for the day, and then choosing which side he prefers. He also loves showing off his shoes when he wears them. I am really liking this new shoe brand!
The footwear concept was developed by company founders Steve Braynock and Jeff Gabriele, company CEO, and included a collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, New York. "Our product range is designed to meet the varied fashion desires of the younger set," says Gabriele. The shoes come in Velcro versions for preschoolers to cross training, fusion and hip lace-up skater styles for the older set. All shoes are high-quality construction including full grain leathers, breathable mesh, and custom comfort cushioning.
U*neaks are available on the web at http://www.uneaks.com/ or at any of the fine retailers listed on the web site. Would you like a chance to win a pair of U*neaks and also a pair of socks? This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States. Go to the U*neaks website, and find the shoes and socks you like best, then come comment about it. You may come back each day and enter again, just leave a comment about where your feet take you most days. Click here to see how you can earn extra credits to win, and click here to see guidelines and the official rules. Contest will end on November 24th, at 7:00 PM CST. GOOD LUCK~

See Kai Run BIG Blog Giveaway!! (Review and Giveaway x3)

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

It is that time of year again where the Bloggy Giveaways are going on! This is a great, big BLOG carnival full of participants with contests going on! Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope you feel welcome...and would like to visit again! My name is Sarah and I am a PT working out of home mom. I babysit another child in her home, along with my kids...so I consider that a SAHM still. I have 3 kiddos.. a boy who is 10 years old, a boy that is 3 1/2 years old, and a 19 month old girl. We have a baby due the beginning of January 2009. So, we are busy in the Sassyfrazz home. Without further ad0...I would like to introduce to you my first contest offered in the Bloggy giveaways.

See Kai Run makes amazing shoes for our little ones! I am a huge fan of their quality made shoes!! The shoes are made with leather and are extremely flexible! See Kai Run's footwear meets the American Podiatric Medical Association's rigorous standards for foot health and functionality and has been awarded the APMA's prestigious Seal of Acceptance. They have a great selection of hip and urban shoe designs available! One of my favorites are the Peggy boots that I have for my daughter! I think they are so cute on her feet, and she walks so comfortably and with style! These shoes are warm on her little feet, and breathable, too! The velcro keeps the shoe on her foot, and it is easy to put them on and off. The Peggy Boots are made with sheepskin leather, the sole is super flexible and the toe is wide for plenty of room to grow and move. These shoes are great for indoor and out. Madelyn loves shoes and she gives them 2 thumbs up~ so do I!
See Kai Run makes another great boot for girls called the Julie boot in pink (limited edition). The See Kai Run site shows this boot in the new fall colors (with brown), but I have a picture of the pink. I think it is an adorable boot. The Julie boot is made with the same super-soft sheepskin leather. I think that is my favorite feature of the See Kai Run shoes, and the flexibility! I wish these shoes came in adult sizes! The Julie boot can be purchased with the breathable leather lining or cozy faux-fur lining. The zipper is on the inner side of the foot, which I think helps keep the zipper protected. See Kai Run also makes great looking (and quality made) boy shoes! I got the Paul in blue (limited edition) shoes to check out! I can say they are one of the cutest shoes I have ever seen! These adorable shoes are made with the great sheepskin leather, are extremely flexible...and can I just say any little boy would be totally styling in these? The shoes look like dressy tennis (but the laces don't come out) and there is a velcro strap to keep the shoes on! I really like the colors, too! You should check out the See Kai Run site and look at all their amazing choices for shoes! You will be impressed with the selection, and once you purchase~you will be impressed with the quality you receive!
See Kai Run was created and inspired by none other than Kai's Mom! She knew the need for comfortable shoes with flexible soles for her son, Kai to wear outdoors. She wanted to create a line of shoes that was as happening as Kai - bold, hip, fun, with an urban sensibility. Something entirely different than what was offered.
She came out with great shoes for both girls and boys...and I highly recommend them!
Have I convinced you that See Kai Run shoes are the shoe choice for your kids?? We love them! See Kai Run has given you...my lucky readers....a chance to win these great shoes! See Kai Run: A review and giveaway!!

Contest is over...thanks to all who entered, and big thanks to See Kai Run for sponsoring the giveaway! Congratulations to our lucky winner~ Jenny! Congratulations! Please contact me with your mailing address and selection.

I love finding really cute shoes for Madelyn, especially when they are QUALITY shoes! I was so excited to get the "Peggy" style of See Kai Run shoes! See Kai Run shoes are so flexible and mobile! They are a great shoe for those little developing feet! I really like the super soft leather that their shoes are made with. The leather is a Sheepskin leather, which is more durable than the commonly used cow leather in other brands of shoes. See Kai Run's footwear meets the American Podiatric Medical Association's rigorous standards for foot health and functionality and has been awarded the APMA's prestigious Seal of Acceptance. See Kai Run has such a great selection of shoes! It was a difficult decision to pick out one for Madelyn. See Kai Run was founded in 2004 by the mom of Kai! She wanted "comfortable shoes with flexible soles for my little Kai to wear outdoors. I wanted to create a line of shoes that was as happening as Kai - bold, hip, fun, with an urban sensibility. Something entirely different than what was offered." I think she made a super choice and has created phenomenal shoes for our kids! I really like what See Kai Run stands for with their giving back and sharing! In June 2008, they donated over 8000 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls and the World Association for Children and Parents! See Kai Run has shoes varying in sizes. The Smaller is for the teeny tiny feet (0-18 months) and the See Kai Run is for sizes 3-9. I think their shoes are great for all kids, and the quality is amazing!
Would you like to win a pair of See Kai Run shoes??
They have generously offered to sponsor a giveaway for my readers! This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States. To enter the contest, Go to the See Kai Run site and look over their Smaller selection of shoes and the See Kai Run. Pick out your favorite style (be warned you will have a hard time choosing one)! This contest does not include the style of the Eleven on their site. Come back and leave a comment on which shoe style you would pick if you are the lucky winner! Click here to see how you can earn extra credits to win, and click here to see guidelines and the official rules. Contest will end on September 29th, at 7:00 PM CST.

Pedoodles~ REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY!

Congratulations to Jenni who won the adorable Pedoodles contest! I have e-mailed her! I will chose another winner, if I don't hear back from her.
Congratulations! Thanks everyone who entered the contest!

I am a total nut about cute baby shoes for my one, and only daughter. She is a doll, and deserves cute shoes! I love the Pedoodle shoe line! I wish I was rich, so I could afford one of every pair! We just got the Sweet Lady Janes, and they sure are adorable on Madelyn's little feet. She does have a little bit of growing to really fit into them, but her feet are tiny. These will be great to wear this summer with her dresses!
I love the quality of these shoes! Every pair of Pedoodles is constructed of premium, top-grade, genuine leather. This flexible, breathable, natural material helps to promote healthy conditions around developing feet. The shoes don't require much care or cleaning to maintain great looks <--and that is something Pedoodles are known for. I really like that the soles are made with PedFlex™ flat-rubber to also aid in those developing feet! They are lightweight, and extremely flexible! I love that their shoes move, flex, and form to the child's feet. The shoes have no arch in them, and so it is like they are walking barefoot...which experts recommend now.
And, can you just shout...ADORABLE? Pedoodles have a wide variety of great and adorable shoes for boys and girls! They offer the First Feet Collection and the Next Steps Collection. The First Feet Collection is made for the crawlers (0-12 months). They are flexible and breathable. The Next Steps Collection is for the walkers and runners (12 months-age 4).

When choosing footwear to protect young developing feet, experts agree you should look for the following qualities:
Lightweight: the shoes should not be heavy or impede the child's movement in any way.
Flexible/Soft: the shoes should not restrict important toe and foot mobility, nor should they bind the growing feet in any way.
Breathable: constructed of breathable natural materials, such as leather, to promote healthy conditions around the feet.
Flat: the shoes should not have any arch support. They should simulate barefoot conditions. Pedoodles meet (and exceed, in my opinion) these recommendations! Pedoodles also carries, groovy hats and fun T-shirts!

Pedoodles would like to sponsor a giveaway for one very lucky Sassyfrazz reader! The winner can choose from either collection and any style. This contest is for bloggers and non-bloggers and open to US and Canadian residents. Please visit Pedoodles, and pick out your favorite shoes from either the First Feet or the Next Step Collection. Come back here and leave a comment about which shoe you would chose if you are the winner. Contest ends May 13, at 7:00 PM CST.
