PBM Products...formula & discount coupons! (GIVEAWAY)

I have breastfed all four of my children. I am thankful and happy that my body produced milk for my babies, because it is convenient, healthier, always the right temperature, less to prepare (bottles, nipples, etc.) and it helps my health, too. Breastfeeding your baby is THE BEST food source for babies, however not all moms have that option. Some moms don't produce enough milk, some have to be on medications, some moms have multiples (and nursing would be very tiring), some women can't pump at work, or some moms may just need to supplement formula with milk.
On those occasions, it’s important for new moms to get the best value for their dollar, while also safeguarding baby’s health. According to the 10th edition Consumer Reports Best Baby Products, store-brand infant formula is as nutritious for babies as nationally advertised brands. Moms can save significantly – up to 50%-- by buying store brand infant formula vs. nationally advertised brands.
As of October, a new Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program initiative designed to promote breastfeeding reduces infant-formula subsidies by up to 26%; parents who previously had most of their formula paid for by WIC may now have to purchase formula on their own. Honestly, I only think this is a good idea if the mom medically can produce milk for their baby. Some mom's bodies just don't produce/supply milk. If funds are tight for that mom/family and she is on the WIC program, she now has to figure out another way to feed her baby. Formula is very expensive.
For these moms, and all moms who need to save money in this economy, I recommend that you check out the store brand formula’s safety and value. It very well could be comparable, and you could save a lot of money, while still feeding your baby.

PBM Products, which makes store-brand formula, is offering a free copy of the 368-page Consumer Reports Best Baby Products, a $16.95 value, as well as discount coupons for purchase of Walgreens, Babies “R” Us, Kroger and dozens of other leading store brand formula.

Evenflo Comfort Select (DUAL) Breast Pump: REVIEW and GIVEAWAY

I love breastfeeding, and I am currently breastfeeding my 3 month old, Cole. It is such a great thing knowing that my body is made to give my son the nourishment he needs to grow. I love the fact that I can have his "meal" ready whenever he needs it: right temperature, right amount, and already ready. I like having other options available, though. I would like to be able to be more flexible with leaving Cole in the care of my parents or in-laws, so pumping breast milk is a must! I was thrilled to review the Evenflo Comfort Select (Dual) Breast pump on the Mom Central blog tour! Having milk stored up for those emergency times, or when I would like to go out on a date with my husband, is a must! I love the new Evenflo Comfort Select breast pump. It is so easy, and convenient to use! The pumps are hand-held, and you can use electricity or battery power to use them. I love that feature, because you don't always have an electrical outlet available! The Evenflo Comfort Select is made without BPA, which is such a concern now days. It makes me feel more at ease knowing the breast pump is free of harmful plastics. I really like the slim traveling storage bag that comes with this pump. Most often, I have seen breast pumps to be so bulky and large. The Comfort Select from Evenflo is a great size, in my opinion. Here is what is included in the kit: 2 hand-held pump units, 2-4 oz. bottles with 2 cap rings, 2 nipples, 2 sealing discs and 2 hoods, 2 soft horn inserts, carrying/travel bag and and AC adapter. There is also nursing pads and a Breastfeeding/instruction guide.

I think that the Evenflo Comfort Select Dual Automatic Cycling Breast pump is easy to use, and is convenient for traveling. I think that the cycle time is just right, and the vacuum is comfortable and imitates baby well. I like that this pump doesn't have a lot of cords and pieces.
I recommend this breast pump if you are currently looking for one. You can enter to win one from my site~ thanks to Mom Central and Evenflo! Da Bib: Review and Giveaway!

Feeding time can be such a challenge with a smaller child or toddler, especially when their bib doesn't fit/work right. I have gone through so many bibs in my 10+ years of parenting, and I would have to say I have a few stipulations in regard to investing in bibs.

1) They have to be long enough to cover your child's chest.
2) They have to fit snugly around their neck (so food doesn't get in between the bib and your child's clothes/body).
3) They have to be made with materials that won't crack when washed~ I hate that!
4) They must be absorbent to liquids and not just drip down the front of the bib~ another pet peeve.
5) And, if possible, made with a pouch to catch stray food that has missed the mouth!

I was just recently able to review DaBib from Chez Shea Baby, LLC~ and I have to say that this Bib is top of the line! It meets all of my "musts" for bibs! Not only is the bib very attractive in looks, it is super functional! Keeping my toddler clean through a whole meal using DaBib, convinced me that it is quality made! The special "scrunch collar" fits any size neck (even my newborn) and keeps unwanted food mess off of your child! I love how easy this bib is to put on and take off! The strap wraps around to the front. I am not a huge fan of Velcro straps, and that would be my only recommendation to the bib~ with maybe a button. DaBib is very absorbent to and soaks up milk, juice, and water instantly - without soaking my daughter's shirt, too! The back of DaBib is waterproof, and there is a pocket in the back that flips open in the front of the bib to catch dropping food. This is a genius idea that the designer, a busy working mom, thought of. When your child is done using the bib, simply dump out the pocket, and flip it back to the back. When you wash, there won't be any left behind crumbs or stains, because the pocket's seam is on the outside! Isn't that creative and smart thinking? I love that feature! Another big bonus to DaBib, is it is non-toxic and lead free! Da Bib comes in two styles: DaHug and DaGiggles. Plus, there are a few choices of colors and patterns to chose from! For only $12.99, this bib is a great value and one to last! Right now, DaBib is offering free shipping with the purchase of three or more bibs, and 20% off your order!
I am a big believer in this bib, and thanks to Family Review Network, I get to try it out, and share the love with my readers! That's right, you can enter to win a DaBib for yourself, or someone you know!
Contests open to the USA. To get your first entry, you must go to DaBib and see their selections. Comment on which style and bib you would choose if you won! You may comment on as many other posts (that I have written in the past) as you want to for an additional entry, just leave the url in your additional comment! You have many chances to enter this contest! In order to qualify, you must do what is required. You may come back each day and enter (again) after you do the first rule, just tweet about this giveaway and leave the url in your comment AND/OR Click here to see how you can earn even more extra credits to win!! The best bottle to use if you're breastfeeding!

Are you looking for a bottle that will be most comfortable and familiar for your baby while nursing? I know being an avid breast feeder that I wonder if my baby will be alright taking a bottle, or if they will do alright with the changes between nursing and bottle feeding.
TheAdiri Natural Nurser Ultimate Baby Bottle features the only nipple truly shaped like a mother's breast. Winning the Medical Design Excellence award, the Adiri Natural Nurser bottle"is winning over doctors, nurses and lactation consultants as advocates with its breast-like shape and feel that is said to encourage an easy transition between breast and bottle, and thus prevent infants from refusing the mother's breast after bottle-feeding." Built inside this super bottle is a Petal vent, which is to help reduce colic. I like how easy this bottle is to use! All I do is fill the bottle with my breast milk, and twist the lid on. It is all set. There isn't any small parts to lose or to remember to assemble. Plus, the Adiri Natural Nurser is dish washer safe! That makes my life easier, too! Adiri Natural Nursers can also be boiled or sterilized using a basic sterilizer. Adiri Natural nurser bottles are made of soft polycarbonate-free and bisphenol-A free materials, so they are safe for your baby. The bottles come in one size: 8-ounce capacity, and there are 3 stages of bottles. Each stage bottle has a certain flow rate. You can find these bottles at many retailers and they are priced at $12.49 each.
Adiri is committed to offer the very best for your baby, "a bottle that is made of the highest quality materials and a superior design, but that is still easy to use."
I am excited to use these new bottles with our baby coming! I can feel confident that they are safe for my baby to use, and that they will be the most natural bottle compared to breastfeeding!
