No Slip Charlie: A review and a giveaway~

I am very excited to be a new mommy again! Every baby is such a blessing...and every baby (NEW) brings a whole bunch of worries.

I am very excited to try out my new No Slip Charlie set when I give my newborn a bath. Those first few bath times can be so nerve-wracking, because your baby is so slippery when they get wet and soapy. I like that these gloves will improve my grip on my little baby.

These bathing gloves have open finger tips, and are made of soft poly/Lycra fabric that gives you the extra grip you need without any discomfort for either you or the baby. I like that the finger tips are open, so I can feel the soap in my baby's hair and feel their soft skin. The gloves have a gripping surface on the palms and between the fingers. Then, what is really great, there is a removable terry cloth wash mitt that attaches to either bathing glove on the back with Velcro for a hands-free washing experience. How many times have you searched around for the wash cloth, while holding on to your baby?

No Slip Charlie was created by Kim Shulman to solve a problem she experienced every time she or her husband bathed their infant son, Charlie. She worried that she would drop him during his bath or while lifting him out of the tub. A book suggested using a sock with a hole cut out for the thumb, Kim knew that there had a to be a better way to get a good grip on the baby. While wearing her tankini top she noticed that his slippery little body stopped on the swimsuit fabric when she held him. This was the creation of Mom Sense, LLC, formed in 2007 to bring No Slip CharlieTM to parents of infants everywhere.
